Visa Order Blocked

Just tried to order from health cabin and the system said I am not allowed to pay for my order with the credit card I was using. This was via paypal.
Anyone else get a Visa order through them today?

I know the card is good, I just made an order with goodprophets with no issue.

I had the same problem. I have more than one card listed with my paypal account, and it would not allow any of them. I ordered using paypal without logging into my paypal account and the payment went through. Try that.

I wasn't logged into paypal, I clicked the payment button and they brought me to a screen to enter the card info. I never logged into anything.

From what I seen on the forums evidently Pay pal is no longer processing orders for electronic cigarettes.

I placed an order with Totally Wicked at 10:30 this morning and paid with paypal. I received my email payment receipt stating that the payment had been made.

Not sure, the order with goodprophets was paypal and it went. Maybe just a glitch, I don't know. Too late now anyway, just a heads up I guess.

paypal/visa processed an order for me today that went to myvaporstore but to be safe i hope all the merchants quickly switch to something else soon to avoid future hassel

When I placed the order with TW I didn't see any other payment option than paypal. This could get ugly if we can't use the paypal. I feel sure that the vendors will come up with something or else they won't get any orders.

If paypal does stop all e-cig orders, the vendors will find a new method of payment similar to paypal. Paypal is just the largest recognized, it is not the only one out there.

Personally, if worst comes to worst, we can always just stop letting paypal know anything about the transactions. You email the vendor the items you want, they send you an invoice, you pay them through paypal. Not stating WHO you are paying or WHAT you are buying- they simply don't need to know

Maybe people will switch to googlecheckout, though I'm not sure if that would work for the asian marketers.

I've tried 4 times to order from NuVape with PP and without. It will not process the order. Given me 4 different reasons for refusal. I'm wondering if it's because it's a e-smoke place also. Go figure...

Just made a payment to PureSmoker less than an hour ago and it went through fine.

However, I'm reading more and more of this. I'm wondering too if paypal isn't just having glitches, not sure.

I have written paypal asking if they are going to start stopping payments for electronic cigarettes. Haven't gotten an answer back yet.

Just received my answer from Paypal. Here it is:

Currently, the sale of electronic cigarettes is not a violation of our
Acceptable Use Policy Department for US accounts. There are other
countries whose laws are more strict. For those countries, we are not
allowing the sale of these cigarettes.

At this time, we have no immediate plans of changing our policy.
However, please keep in mind that our policy does change and it is
always best to check with us before you begin to sell certain items that
we may consider violating.

They are hoping the annoyance will eliminate at least 75% of all further follow-up.

There is no response they would give that isn't already pre-scripted. Attempts to get anyone to stray from the script will be futile. Many if not most are incapable of stringing words together coherently enough to form a sentence.
