Yes, it is nice to use the 1.5ohm. The replacements I got are 1.8 ..don't think I've used one yet. I forget with all these different coils!
It is tedious charging the Spinner ll. Always need to leave enough time or switch it off when I go to bed! The MVP2 charges quicker on my computer!

I've got another MOW but haven't used it yet :) I looked at the Genitank but to be honest, they look virtually the same!

I'm finding that the spinner set at around 3.8 with 3 holes visible on the Mow is amazing with mothers milk or Derailed. However MM doesn't like anything above 3.8 as it starts to taste too funky for me. Derailed loves it way up to max.
Both of these on 1.8 coils.

MM back in stock at spiritus, now with droppers! My 2 perfect vapes right there!

Nice when everything is working right! :)

I'm currently using a new MOW I got, so it has the 1.5ohm coil in it - working well too. They seem to come with coils that have the slot in the sides rather than two little holes, which is what packs of replacement coils have for now. There must be some new stock due!

I'm pretty sure the slot type works a bit better than those with two little holes.

I've got some Got Cookie (Oreo) from Nicoticket, and I've added some GVC to it ...rather nice! :)

Ah there's 2 types as myepack are selling the upgraded dual coils. Not sure if they are the slot types. I'll check in the morning if I can find my magnifying glass! [emoji2] which reminds me I need to book an eye test tomorrow. At 45 my eyes are now struggling with small type [emoji30]

Should have more MM and Deraiked tomorrow to keep me going for a while! [emoji106]

Oh yeah I put that blog post up too. Links in the been off the vapes thread!

I got a pack of coils from VapeEscape and they have the two little holes in the sides, got a pack on the way from myepack to see if they're the slot type.

It was around 45 that I had to give in and wear my specs more often. Both our sons are similar ..one at 44, the other in the past year at 40. It's a pain, but I'd rather have specs for reading and work than laser treatment!
I also need an eye test ...been 2 years and I think I need a new prescription.

Good you're finally getting your new bottles of MM & Derailed! I saw/read your blog post ...rather good too! :)

Oh yes I did check! The head that came in the box that shipped with the MOW has indeed got rounded rectangular type shapes, yet the stock ones bought from myepack have circular holes.
Noticed too that some have wicking visible and some don't.
Hope this is not the return of the quality issues experienced on the single coils [emoji20]

Interestingly, this is a post I made a couple of days ago on the FastTech thread:

Thinking of our recent conversations re the Kanger V2 coils having both two small holes on the side and a single elongated one, it's interesting to read two somewhat conflicting reviews of the on the UKecigstore site.
The first review isn't a good one, and it's followed by two posted on 20.8.14:

After quite a bit of confusion with staff when I bought my replacement heads, I did some research and here is a low-down on these dual coils:

The atomiser head pictured is a Version 2.2 with the single slot on both sides but unless you buy the 2.0 ohm head you will get the Version 2.1 with two holes on each side.

Version 1: Has short wicks sticking out of the holes.
Version 2.1: Wicks not visible. 2 holes on either side.
Version 2.2: Wicks not visible. 1 covered slot on either side.

The reason Kanger revised V2.1 was because the loose flavour wicks inside the head can poke out of the holes. This doesn’t happen with the V2.2 heads as there is material covering the slots. If you purchase a MOW tank it comes with a V2.2 1.5 ohm head that has single slots on either side. After mine died I tried to buy a replacement pack of the same heads but was given the 2.1 version with 2 holes either side. And yes, I noticed on refilling that the wicks tend to come out of the holes.

Store staff assured me that only the 2.0 ohm heads came with the slots on either side (despite the 1.5 ohm head in the MOW tank having slots too). Having done my research, I now interpret this to mean that the only V2.2 heads in stock at the moment are 2.0 ohms. The rest are all V2.1.

Other than that, the V2.1 heads work very well albeit with a short life span of about 4-5 days before performance drops. Plus it’s very difficult to open up the head for cleaning, unlike previous Kanger heads.

So 3 stars for now and let’s hope that future stock of these heads will be all be V2.2 with single slots on each side, as these are the best ones to use. Then I may give 4 stars!

And then this one:

These ones have 2 holes on top of each other on each side so 4 holes in total compared with one slightly bigger hole on each side on the older version and the ones with the double holes work much better for taste and flavour ive found, Its a night and day difference for me. Very pleased with this product, thanks.

So, impossible to be 100% sure which is supposedly the newer version. Whichever it is, I'm pretty sure that the single hole ones work/last better. I tend not to take too much notice how long once I've used something new for a while, but I do notice those that leak or need replacing too soon.

I got another eMOW IP Blue tank from MyePack last week, and unlike my earlier ones, this came with the two holes version coil fitted!

Seeing UKecigstore has the V2 coils on offer at £5/5, I've ordered some of the 2.0ohm to see what arrives!

With Aspire and the BVC coils, there's a new 1.5ml glass mini 'K1' tank coming soon to both the above mentioned suppliers (Myepack will be cheaper if they keep the advertised upcoming price).
Looking at the MyEpack image, the BVC coil looks to be the 'other' version (not for the Nautilus mini). Disappointing as I'd prefer to only need to keep one type. Seeing that, I'm thinking twice about getting the new K1 Aspire K1 Glassomiser - Clearomizers

Between them, these two manufacturers are keeping people on their toes where coils are concerned.
Also, I still see no BVC coils on the FastTech site.

Today, I checked my 'stock' of the V2 coils, and found a pack of 2.0ohn ...sure enough, they had the elongated slot rather than two holes! Still don't know which is the most up to date version though!

I'm funding I'm preferring my spinner set at wimp volts (3.2) for MM. The juice can handle higher voltage but it's too hot for me. I'm getting my sweet spot at 3.2 with 3 holes visible on a 1.5 ohm dual coil. Spinner lasts longer too!
Think I'll try lowering mine too ...I don't have them high, but I find them so slow to recharge. I'll try using 3.2 and see how it goes!

So, I created new thread here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tery-life-performance-vision-spinner-2-a.html (as this one didn't come up in search) regarding battery life of the VS2. Mine goes to blue after 3 hrs of vaping, of course never putting the thing down for the most part. I use 1.8 ohm coils now and vape at 4.3v. Can you tell me how long it takes for your battery to get the blue light on the button and how much you vape? I'm trying to figure out if I have received two bad batteries in a row or not (had first switched out by seller).

Thanks!

Oh, and my vendor for coils indicated to me that the elongated hole coils are actually the first version of the new coils as he's only received the two holes on each side coil since receiving those originally. I have noticed the two hole coils do get the issue with the wick coming out the side though. It kind of sucks, but only had the slotted coil in the original emow tank I got and can't really speak to a difference in taste as I wasn't really paying any attention to it.

I'm definitely finding that I need to watch my Spinners because often, they show as being charged after around an hour!
I then unplug & unscrew them from the charger and then screw them back on firmly and begin again. The red light usually reappears at that point and they begin charging properly.

Had to do this with two yesterday.

It's a pain, and obviously a connection/positioning problem on the contact.

I'm going to try one of the new I pow 2 Kanger batteries when they arrive at UK retailers.

Shame about the V2 coils issue! Just find something good and they have to spoil it!
A recent purchase of 2.0ohm ones from a supplier came with the elongated hole, but going by what you say, they will change once stock is renewed.

Definitely a shame about the charging and it seems to happen a little less now when I use the Kangertech 510 charger and a 1A rated wall plug. Even though I've read that using a 0.5A wall plug may cure the problem completely. So, when you do get a full charge, does the light on the button turn to blue after 3 hrs if you're consistently vaping on it? How much average life would you say you're getting and how often are you vaping?

As for the coils, I would probably rather have the elongated hole types as then it keeps the wick from coming out the side. I found one guy on eBay who has that type, so may try to order some just to see if I notice a difference in taste or not. I'm sure once the wick starts coming out the side, it probably impacts taste ever so slightly.

To be honest, I haven't any idea how long. I tend to have 4 or 5 tanks/batteries that I use at one time, and some days I'll use more of one or two than the others. I do know when the Spinners don't last as long as they should though.
I watch them for the first hour or so of charging because often they show as charged after around an hour. If I unscrew them and then start again, they go on to charge for some hours properly. They're a bit of a pain.

I've bought 5 packs of 2.0ohm with the elongated slot type holes recently, but I see the 2 better priced suppliers I used are out of stock of the 2.0ohm now. No guarantees that new stock will be the same though.
I feel pretty sure that they work better and last a bit longer.

Lol... definitely understood as for trying to track the time it lasts. I'm up to 3 different batteries and 4 or so tanks myself now in rotation. 2 of them are the Spinner 2s and the other a Kanger Emow Mega kit, which is awesome! The battery on that definitely lasts longer than my Spinners and I get no drop off in performance as the battery drains. I'm out of ideas as for chargers and what works or doesn't as I've tried everything and contacted Vision. They suggested I buy a charger they now have up on visioncig.com, which I may order.

For the coils, I believe Kanger is going to or stopped selling the 2.0 ohm coils unless the supplier special orders them. I used to use the same and it's hard to find anyone with supply of them left now. Trying some 1.5 now and had 1.8's for the most part before that.

I saw the Mow Mega - may try it at some point. I see the batteries at £17.99 at Myepack (black or SS) and the coloured ones for £18.99 at UKEcigcabin.
I hesitate because I'm still waiting for the iPow2 1600 to arrive in stock somewhere (3-15W and USB charging slot).

There's a Vision Spinner 2 charger at MyEpack: Vision USB Charger For Spinner 2

I did get some more 2.0ohm, and they are the ones with the slot in the side. I've seen a few images of one of the Kanger tanks showing that 2.0ohm coil alongside them too.
Be a pity if they stop making them because they do seem good.

I really like the Emow Mega tank. The battery is nice also, but not a fan of how flush the button is and I'm addicted to the click in place function on the Spinner and my itaste clk. Although, you don't have to worry about the spinner moving on the Emow. Its also shorter (just wider) than the Spinner 2, so it has a smaller profile in the pocket, which I like when moving around.

Nice you found the charger from somewhere not all the way in China...lol! Shipping takes forever. Another person from the forum directed me to sweet-vapes.com and they also have it, since I'm in the US...it's a little closer. : ) I'm probably going to order it and maybe an extra Emow Mega tank as they're the only one's I've found selling the tank separately from the battery. I have seen just the battery on ebay though.
