I own:
1 X 650 Twist
1 X 1000 Twist
for 6 months
Also:
2 X 1300 Twists for 5 months.
I prefer the Spinner cuz dial is knurled and easier to turn and voltage markings are visible unlike the Twist.
The 1000 Twist- dial is loose and spins freely- batt only good for 5 hours. 650 Twist is working great.
Having said that I have a friend who owns 2 X 1300 Spinners and one is only good for 6 hours vape time.
I'm not bothered by the malfunction of my Twist as I understand and accept these eGo style batts are disposable mass produced items and along the way there will be lemons cuz of the lack of QC.
Maybe these lemons are "Monday or Friday made"? :D

I don't own both but I decided on the spinner. I like that it is shorter but fatter.

Here is a picture of both next to each other.

i have read a few times that the threads on the spinner are "weaker", I don't know yet.

I do have both. As far as the dial is concerned, the spinner is alot better. But for me, that's the only thing about the spinner that's good. My 1000 twist actually seems to outlast the 1300 spinner. I dont think the spinner hits as hard either. I will take same tank and put on both at same voltage, the twist seems to produce a better hit for me. My wife also has both and she tends to agree. There's just something about the spinner we aren't huge on.

I have both. The Spinner has an 8 second cutoff, and I hit it every single time. I know I can just release the button for a half second to avoid it, but I don't feel I should have to compensate for a device's intended usage. Either it works, or it doesn't. I don't even know if the Twist has a cutoff because it has never activated on me. ;)

I didn't know Spinners had that feature. I've only used Twists, which have never cut me off. Interesting.

I have a couple of both and I prefer the Spinner. Easier to see and set the voltage and the bigger capacity (1300 mAh) for about the same price per mAh is nice. The Spinner actually has a 8 second cutoff as opposed to the Twist's 10 seconds. I find with good juice delivery devices like VN's and carto tanks, that doesn't bother me.

I like the twist better because I like the pearl pink color of the twist. How's that for a reason! The adjustment is easier with a Spinner but never really change the voltage anyway. Both are good. If you get a Twist, I'd get a Joye Twist. The knock-off Twists lasted about 1-2 months and the buttons broke. I've had a Joye Twist since July and it's still going strong.
