Are the benefits the same as a carto?

Meh. Not really. A carto is far more consistent. I'd say buy one and give it a try for yourself, but I'm not a huge fan. The new version of the Stardust performs somewhat better than the first 2 versions but it's still not as good as a Boge cartomizer :)

Let's put it this way: they work great for some and terrible for others, just like everything else. My (and others that don't like them) complaints are: dry hits regardless of how much I tip it, muted flavour, juice "burns" up and the last bit is always nasty and has to be washed out, uses way more juice than anything else I've ever tried, if I tip it too far while vaping I get juice in my mouth.

Try one for yourself, maybe it'll work for you :glare:

I am amazed at your bad luck with extremevizions and stardusts;

I opened 3 stardusts and filled them (and refilled them 4 times each!) no problemo at all.

Of course they use juice like chimneys,they are only 1.6ml after all :)

I also leave them standing,layed down,dangling from my neck like crazy on that awesome smok lanyard ;

one more thing I like is they never get hot like extremevizions or any other of a similar type I own.

I really wish you could enjoy them like I do.

And they look awesome.

I've been using these exclusively for three days, and I love 'em. No dry hits yet, and the flavors are great. I've never let them get down to last bits, so I don't know how they perform almost empty. But they do burn through the juice!

This is coming from someone who had as many problems with the Extremes as Chelly did. However, the Stardust that I have now is working amazingly well. Been using it for almost a week now. Whenever I want to change out juice, I just drain what I have in there and fill it up with the other juice. I find the transition between flavors amazingly fast. Then again, I'm not making huge flavor changes (ie - tobacco to fruit, etc). Am trying to keep the flavors at least somewhat in the same range, so to speak. Funny enough, some flavors it does mute but others are super strong. Might be because they are from different vendors. Anyway, I am loving the ease of these things and definitely will be getting a few more. One just isn't enough! My cartos still have their place, mind you but am very impressed with these. Tons of vapor, excellent TH and pretty good flavor depending on whose juice I am using. Well worth buying one and giving it a try is my bet.

Oh yeah ... they do burn through juice but that's been a plus for me as it is helping me get through some juice that I can't bear to throw away but am not really enjoying all that much either. :)

This helps. I was very curious about trying one but was never really sure what it was going to do for me. Good thing is that they are quite inexpensive. So I guess I can hope for vape is more carto-like than your standard standard tank/atty, higher volume liquid storage and the cool factor of seeing through it.

I'm not the only one who has had terrible "luck" with clearos. It's a pretty widely held opinion that clearos are all extremely finicky and either love or hate. I'd love to know why. I'd love them to work properly for me, because when they work, they're great. But it just is not worth the amount of frigging around I have to do to get something to maybe work for a few good hauls. Alas, woe is me!!!
I will admit that I do vape a few very high PG juices on the new version SD that I was so kindly sent by Canvape with my last order. If I constantly tip this version I can get a decent haul about 75% of the time. I've liked it just for the ease of filling and being able to see how much juice is in there, but I probably wouldn't buy another one for myself unless they came out with another version with further improvements.
Best thing is to try it for yourself, I hope you'll like it! :)

I love them! I have to fill more but I really don't think they go thru the juice any faster than anything else. It's just that they don't hold a lot so it seems like it (to me anyway). I can't stand any kind of filler except that found in smoktech dual coils. Anything else, forget it. Anyway, I never have a dry hit, never have had a leak of any sort and love the clean taste.
