Keep up the god work guys, love your products and the innovation...
+1 on that! I'm dying to try that new tank with the multi ohm atty parts you can switch out! That thing looks wicked cool. My only limitation is budget. But if it were based on desire alone, Bad, I'd be putting your kidlets through college! rofl

bad,
can you address if you are going to be able to sell the Tox heads alone and if so how much they will be now, or do you need to wait and see what you get before you can comment on that?
I bought my tox kit from litecig but they have no plans to release new heads and even took the tox kit off their site and i'm wanting to get a new head from gotvapes depending on the price. thanks.

Can't wait to throw a Nova on this bad boy. Will the new heads be in our hands by the 25st of May? Going out with USS Never Dock and would love to take this with me. Oh and do you guys know if any changes were made to the button? After awhile the one on the plastic head fell down inside the head.

rofl... Don't worry, Erin. I'm 99.99% positive they'll show up tomorrow, since I just ran out of vape budget for this month. rofl Yeah, my karma is like that. ;) But crossing fingers, toes, and every other part that extends that Chris'll have a head for lil ole me (and hoping like maybe the 18650 tubes, too, but that's not a big issue at all) in a couple weeks. I was so responsible and had the moola set aside, but then I had an 18500 (huh.. one from the tox kit actually, now that i think about it) get psycho hot cause of a short in the trustfire charger, so had to get one of those sorta pila knockoff Xtar wp2 smart chargers and a slew of new batts. That scared the crawdads outta me... had I been asleep, out of the house, or just out of the room I've no doubt that thing would have vented or exploded in an hour or less. It was so hot it melted the charger.... so from now on, no cheap batts or chargers for me. lol I dont think the battery was at fault, I think the charger shorted and charged batt near to death.

BTW, I'm helping out a bunch of newish vapers in a 'lavatube noob' thread I started since so many of them are using it as a starter pv, and tons of them were asking about tanks, so I sent em to the Vivi Nova. I haven't bought mine yet, though. Can any of you tell me if its a pretty simple process and how extensive the 'troubleshooting' is to keep em working well and consistently, or is it too soon to tell? I think its the perfect device for something like the LT with the changeable ohm innards, but wondering how user friendly it is for the total novice, since I haven't checked it out myself.

And bad or anyone else who knows offhand... those vision frosted poly replacement tank tubes you sell on the site... anyone have any earthly clue what diameter those are? I'm trying to figure out if they'll fit over the tubes for the dual coil clearos that I'm in lurve with (and can't wait till they update the plastic so chris'll think about carrying em). I need to hunt and find a tut or something on what non-toxic adhesive to use for safety when modding something like a clearo tank, since clearly I'm gonna have to replace the plastic on mine. ;)

Those xtar chargers are great, I got the wp6 when on of me trustfires decided it wanted to always stay red, even with no battery on it.

Orachel, take a look at my review.

Vision Vivi Nova Review - YouTube

LordDavon (I feel like such a tool every time I say that! lol) that review was fabulous, as per your usual. I had no idea that those were quite that versatile, and could literally be rebuilt like that. Now i've really gotta get one. ;) I'd rather have 5, but one will have to do. lol

Errol, that review was next on my list to hunt up. I asked him to review the tox when they very first came out, and I'm glad by the time he got hold of one, it was at least one of the ones with some improvements. Guessing based on your comment its not great. I wouldn't worry too much about it if its a pan, because i know a few places got their handy dandy replacement heads when Bad was still reporting that the voltage regulation wasn't resolved fully yet... so guessing its impossible to say at this point how many revisions took place between time that head got called 'done' and the time ours were done. ;)

And Dj Xy... Yeah, I looked at the 6 bay. It came down to a cross between financial concerns and something a friend of mine came up with. My budget is tight enough when there are times I really won't spend an extra $20 or so on vape gear, just by necessity. My buddy brought up the fact that chargers all die eventually, even the good ones, and if I had all my imr charging capacity in one 6 bay unit, and it died, I may well be stuck for a week or so. THAT would not be good. So I got one of the 2x, and I'll probably get 1 or 2 more of the same, or perhaps the 6 now that I have a backup. I did a TRUCKLOAD of research, vid reviews, candlepower, etc. They're definitely a great quality even for 2x the cost. I'm happy for sure.

Thank you Orachel. I love doing the reviews, and have many more coming. I think you will love the Vivi Nova. My biggest concern was getting across how easy it really is, so I am glad that you took that from the review.

Oh, I tested the TOX head V2 for another vendor, and although I didn't watch Phil's review, I am sure that his voltages were all over the place too. I hear, but I don't have any facts, that the version 3 head is much better. How much? I don't know.

Yeaaaah, um... Phil's review didn't have any numbers. Why, you say? Because the vendor first shipped him one with the original head... then proceeded to ship him one with the 'replaced' head... again, still plastic so NOT what we're getting. He mentioned that he had crazy voltage fluctuations (not quite sure that's the phrase he used, but something along those lines) with it, and then the damn thing proceeded to die ON CAMERA... in the middle of the review, so he couldn't continue, and just gave it a thumbs down. Now I love phil busardo. Almost always agree with his reviews. And I know he couldn't have done it any different. I sure want to know as a consumer if he evaluates any pv and its doa, practically. But I ask you... if you were the vendor, and shipping an already problematic pv to a very well known reviewer... and btw I know it was already problematic, cause I was chatting with Phil about them just a few days after they came out. At that point, he'd just heard of them, and hadn't received any info on doing a review on one. My request for a review on it was the first he got. He said he'd be glad to review em if a vendor provided one for testing but he'd not been in any communication with anyone about it as of 2 days after they came out. So he must have gotten the kit with the first head at least a week or so later, at the very minimum. We all know on day one and day 2 of these being received, all the negatives were posted. So CLEARLY the vendor was aware that there were already grumblings about major voltage inaccuracies, and not holding any kinda voltage under load. But that didn't stop them from shipping one off to Phil. Then when they got the replacement, clearly they didn't check those out, either, cause the the problem wasn't resolved at all, and voltages were wonkified when Phil did the testing off camera. And then the dang thing died. rofl

I'm on a bit of a rant about this because it was just such a foolish maneuver. And now vendors like Gotvapes, who were in this thing with us from the beginning, and insisted on a quality product for our final result, are gonna be the ones who suffer because these things got a deservedly bad rap initially... and a horror story rap after that trainwreck of a review. lol I can tell ya that if I was a newbie searching for my first pv and someone mentioned tox (which i do frequently, but in a 'to be determined' kind of way), I'd probably run screaming after 5 mins of research. And now these things could have a built in magic wand, and there's still gonna be a negative taint on them no matter what the final build quality. -1 for the manufacturer for being careless initially, and -1 for vendor not taking 5 minutes to check out a product that already had super negative known issues before sending TWO bad units off to be reviewed by a guy who can pretty much single handedly sway the opinions of a large chunk of the vaping populace. These 'big' reviews literally determine how a product is received in the marketplace. And they sent him a bad one...TWICE! lol You'd think after the first time they'd have learned. Anyway, hoping the determined shoppers will listen if we receive these things and the issues are totally resolved. But unfortunately the marketing manager in me knows that there won't be any chance of building up a positive buzz about the re-release of these until there are a ton of well documented rave reviews out there. And even then there will be a huge chunk of people who never consider it because its gotten a total 'lemon' reputation. Sigh.. and half the vendors still selling the bad ones won't help the situation. Ok, off my soapbox, but I know from experience how much time and effort and money distributors put into a product launch, and sadly, this one is in a freefall right now. ;(

wrong..........

Yeah, if it was never meant to be reviewed, just tested, that's a whole other can of beans. Boy, you must have about choked when you saw that review! Hope like heck he'll agree to review the totally corrected ones for ya! I'd love some good press to be out there on these guys. lol I keep defending em, and my friends think I'm nuts. ;) They really are solid little units, assuming all the issues are resolved. I just love the ability to switch size, and the oled on it. I'm also bizarrely fond of the way it calls me 'master'. rofl And in what.. like 3 mos or so of constant use.. I haven't had it fail, even with the bad head. I've had some misfires, maybe more than on my lavatube, but again.. I'm still using the bad controller head. Really hoping all that is resolved with this new model. ((crossing fingers!))

I'm afraid the Tox has a near insurmountable hurdle to overcome what with all the new new alternatives, particularly the LavaTube V2 4amp kit for under $70 or a 5amp V-Max for $100/$120.

FWIW I ordered a V1.5 3amp LavaTube and had exactly the same problem I had with the Tox, though the resolution with Penny @ Penny's Store was much more pleasant than my dealings with Kalamazoo Vapor Shop over the Tox.
