I'm afraid the Tox has a near insurmountable hurdle to overcome what with all the new new alternatives, particularly the LavaTube V2 4amp kit for under $70 or a 5amp V-Max for $100/$120.

I have both of these. One of the reasons I want the fixed TOx head. I want the holy trinity of Chinese VV mods.

i agree errol, this bump ruined its future, but new heads are days away and left hong kong, they are metal heads and a free carto was sent with each one. again ill apoligize and we will announce this once they arrive and get them right out to anyone that had a issue then put the ones we have back on sale with the metal heads, surprisingly though people are still asking to buy them.

i was busy today so we will get the vv colored variables up tomorrow, i like these alot, small cute and work well

My son-in-law is getting ready to order his first kit. I was thinking about the new one for him....how small are they? Like compared to a ProVari V2

I've got the same question as harleydiva about the new colored vv... size and more importantly, weight. A friend of mine has already bought 2 kits for her husband, but his complaint with all of them is that they're 'too heavy'. Looking for a lightish alternative for a rather techie new vaper. I'm not sure what the issue is.. thinking maybe he's looking for something he can leave hanging off his lip, like an analog. I've tried explaining that batteries aren't as light as dried leaves and paper, but he's a stubborn one. rofl Hoping the cool look of the new vv's, along with amazing performance, will be the impetus he needs to stick with it.

Ok, was gonna ask in the modding forum, and still might, but figured you guys might have a good suggestion. I'm trying to find a new multimeter (finally got the old one working, but it is incredibly inaccurate) and would like to find a good model for testing voltage under load, with my pvs. I can always buy a regular multimeter and a voltage meter w 510 connection, but since they don't work properly for voltage modulation, it won't work on most of my pvs. I figure there's got to be a better way. Anyone have a good suggestion for a brand of multimeter that accurately tests voltage under load? I know they're pricier than the regular models, but don't quite know what to call it even to search for a good deal on one. Thanks so much, if anyone has a suggestion!

If your MadVapes type inline volt reader won't work you'll need an adapter like this item in addition to a VOM to test under load voltages. The Shadow Tester

It doesn't take much of a VOM to check AC or DC voltages. My $10 Chinese cheapo unit works just fine for non demanding jobs like that.

WOW hadn't seen that, YES that's what EVERYONE needs to mesure voltage correctly, thanks

Ok, Errol et all, I am SO thrilled by that find! That's exactly what I need. And am in the process of ordering my very own cheap chinese voltage meter (that actually functions, unlike the $3 model from harbour freight we had hanging out in our joint) from DealExtreme.... LOVE that place. Friend of mine turned me onto it..he's been using them for years, and was thrilled to find they have stuff useful for messing with his mods. Plus they have all sorts of super inexpensive snazzy electronic gizmos. Its up to a month wait cause its in china, but shipping is free. They don't have a good selection of modding batteries, but they have every other gizmo I've needed for use with my devices.... the really odd stuff that isn't easily found at a vape shop. I desperately need a pair of calipers, and they have those, as well. Whew.. thank you guys SO much. You just stopped me having to get one of those $50 meters with enhanced function that I SO can't afford.

Didn't see any "small cute and work well vv colored variables" up today? Did notice you carry the Twist though. :)

Have you been able to find anything like the Shadow Tester anyplace else? If you do be sure to link it here. They are out of stock at the link I provided.

I Googled DealExtreme, they have quite a network, forums and all.

If you find one, let me know. I would love to get a couple.
