For sure I won't be doing any more business with KalamazooVapor. One thing that would really swing me back to the Tox in a big way would be a 3.5amp circuit like the Provari V2. Till then I'll stick with my Lavatube.

Busardo's review of the Provari V2 nearly sold me on one but for all the one button fussing just to change voltage or anything else for that matter. The button punching was a significant part of Phil's review. Much simpler on the Tox or Lavatube.

The button pushing worried me before I got my v2. It is a lot easier to use than it looks in videos. You can just push the button until you see the option you want, not necessary to count presses.

Thinking about getting a tox for use at work. Would be lighter and cheaper in case I broke it.

Will the VOX accept the eGo Stardust if a 510 adapter is used?

They work great with a 510-to-eGo adapter. They look really good too!

I'm pretty pleased with one push then one push plus or minus for each 1/10v on my LT. The Tox is quite similar with two additional pushes to get to that point. If you use one voltage setting most of the time it won't make a difference but in my case I'm always fiddling with the voltage so it's important to me. At any rate the V2 Provari is outstanding. :)

Where can I get one? Does GV sell them?

yes, they do. Admitting that GV version is a LITTLE bit more than others, but GV offers one of the best services out there.
If you ever get a issue with their PVs, they resolve it in no time. They will soon offer 18650 optional tube for the "TOX" as well.

EDIT--
Forgot to mention their VIP discount. Just subscribe for their newsletter at their web site before purchase. You will get 5% automatic discount everytime you buy from them. not a single time. So, you wouldn't need to go hunt for discount coupon.

I was asking about the 510-to-eGo adapter not the PV.

bad... sorry to be such a pain in the tailfeathers, but as close as I've been following these, I'm totally lost. Could you give a general idea in difference between v2 and v3? Trying to figure out best time for me to buy Tox again, this time w you (thankfully). And any idea offhand if the extra colors are coming anytime soon? If its a matter of just a month or so, I might wait for a colored version.

I was about to ask the same question lol. I don't have any problems with mine (but I don't have a meter to test, maybe I just don't know any better?), and as much as I love it I was thinking of picking up an extra head.

v2 is what they sent out last week, goes to 5.5, they are reworking the chip(v3) to get it as high as possible, changing the amperage.

not all heads where affected but many many where so maybe thats why yours is just fine.

there are reports out there with people who tested there tox and its just fine, but not many.

So, umm... will we be able to get the V3 head separately? I like 6V, but 6.6V is better!

Oh, wait... 5.5V? :(:blink::cry:

Actually, that's okay. :) I do like my 3.5ohm atty at 6V though. Mmmmmm :D

You really do need a voltmeter on the 2.5amp VV units to know what you are getting at various setting with different ohm cartos. This is the one I have, a must have tool.
