OK got my new head in the mail today, seems to work properly along the whole spectrum of voltages, yay, the only negative was that I found it extremely tight to get the head on to the battery sleeve particularly the small one which I had to use a pair of rubber bottle opener grips to get it to turn so it locked into place the first time, after the first time it was fine on both though.
I do have one question though, I thought we were supposed to get something free along with the head as a thank you for being patient waiting for the updated version? another vision carto or something? I only ended up getting the head itself. Not that I am completely unhappy since we ended up getting the metal heads instead of plastic which is definitely a bonus.

you where, i think 1 package was skipped with adding the gift, pm me and ill handle you, everyone recieved a free carto, but after counting what was sent to the cartos there was 1 extra carto here and it must be yours, glad your head is working

I got my Tox head today and it is rocken!
With the older model i felt if i squeezed hard enough I could smash it like Hulk. Also the button on the old one was floaty and wouldn't fire all the time, the button on the revised is solid.
I think the best new feature is you don't have to go into the menu mode to change the voltage up and down, just pressing + or - lets you change it right off.
Thanks gotvapes!

Hey, I didn't get a carto either.

oh and one thing that would be nice to have is a second battery end cap so hot switching can be faster. that way I can carry around the second battery already loaded and just switch them without having to switch the cap. any chance of getting some spare caps in?

I'd LOOOVE a second cap for mine!! That's the only thing missing! Well, that and the 18650 tube.

I got a new unopened TOX. Was there a recall or something?

If you got it at GV, no worries. They removed the ones that weren't holding voltage under load, and put in the new 'controller heads'.. plus, the heads are now metal, where they were plastic before. ;) And unless you got it months ago, if you got it from GV, you're good. They stopped selling the bad ones, and only relisted the kit when Dan and Chris were pretty darn positive they were working to stated specs. ;)

Got my new head today and it is excellent with the hv carto. 4.2 volts with that seems to be my happy spot. I'll agree it is a struggle to get it on the sleeves, the 18500 went ok though, I'll work on the smaller one soon.

I rocked mine back and forth for a few minutes, and it is finally going in easier. Been testing it on the meters. It is really close up 'till about 4.8V. After that, it drops a little. Not too bad though. Haven't tested too far into the 5V range though. Mine is having a few issues, but even with them, the V# head is pretty good.

Oh that is so killer! 2 pvs in one... even better value. And yeah, orig heads don't maintain voltage under load at high voltages, but you know.. you can get a killer vape out of em at 4.4v with 1.7ohm carto. lol I don't know if I was getting 4.4... felt more like 4-4.2, but it was fine. ;)

Question for ya Bad... do you know if you're going to sell the caps alone? Reason I ask is a bud pmd me about a place that does sell just caps.. not for tox, but for a similar device, that fits on just fine. I'd certainly rather buy a tox one from you, though, if you think that's likely in the future. ;)

I'll admit to laziness here, once I got it onto the big sleeve, well I'm too tired right now to work the little one. But since I don't have a single carto or juice requiring more than 4.2...maybe 4.4 volts, anything else just isn't going to matter much to me.

Got mine in today and wow huge difference, and did anyone notice that it hold voltage and time when you change that battery :D

Thx for all the hard work on these Bad and Dan another 2 thumbs up.

I noticed that the 4 changes that I gave Badkolo... were all made. :) Well, at least the 3 were that I remember. It is almost like they were listening.
