So I dropped into my local B&M to buy juice and six replacement cartos for my carto tanks. Lingered in the store to fill my carto with the new juice before heading into work. The carto was a dud. I quietly shuffled myself out and got in my car to go to work...

In the work parking lot, I dropped my keys and looked around between the seats. What did I find sandwiched in there?



I'm pretty damn accurate as to what I buy and how much I buy, and where I put it. Old habits die hard. Now how did this little bugger escape my notice, and how did he wind up between my car seat?

You bought a new carto, filled it there, it was a dud, and you quietly left? Please tell me you had them replace the dud before leaving.

As for the extra...I find things occasionally I don't remember when I bought them

It's a weird relationship. As in... I'm weird. I don't like to make scenes, ever. At that point, there were at least six other people standing in line waiting to be helped.

I knew exactly what happened and what I needed to do in retrospect. I could just come back in a day or so later when the place was empty, quietly tell them my carto was a dud, and get a new one.

Circumstances and my own personality dictated the proper thing to do was move off to a private area and try again. It's just me, man. Not them.

EDIT: My gist was, I walked in empty handed, bought six cartos, one was a dud, got back into my car, and found a miraculously forgotten carto. -1, +1. Even!
