The heads do take some time to break in on both novas which sucks. The only thing that stops me from being 100% happy is it does mute the crap out of my DIY juice. My $20/bottle commercial juice I had left works great (cause God Forbid not having to toss in a pile of $$ into the EC world) so it depends on your juice.

This is the first time ever I went 1 week without throwing something out. I vape a ton! and I washed the heads all week and none are gone.

I'm gonna have to get a mini for my KGO. I'm using the full size on my VTube and a Silver Bullet and they are fantastic. (I've got 4 of them plus several replacement heads.)

Ralikar, I just take the Vivi apart, rinse it all out with hot water, dry it with a paper towel as best I can, blow any water out of the stem, screw it back together, fill it, let the juice wick for 15 minutes or so, and then vape. The first 5 - 10 vapes are a little weak, but as soon as the water is replaced by juice, it tastes fine to me. I only rinse them out when they start tasting a little weak or funky or the juice gets really dark and thick.

It took a little while, and I was highly skeptical at first, but the Vivi Nova has replaced all my other tanks. Easy to use/maintain and low hassle. Now I'd like to order a couple more as well as some new aluminum tubes, but all my regular vendors are sold out. Anybody know what's going on? Is there a big shipping crate in transit from China stuck in port?

I've been raving about the vivi nova ever since I got the initial issues with my first one resolved (The heads I got needed cleaned out of the box I guess, or I did something wrong) -- I got my mini today, and it's as good, if not better than the original. I also got one of the new 3.2ohm heads, and it goes great guns.

I have found that the coils on these things can taste different/better with some juices after they get a little "dirty" -- and cleaning them well does kind of "reset" them -- though I like both the initial "clean" taste and the broken-in "dirty" flavor. It's all good.

Very nice! I would like to have one of those. Maybe after the excitement is lost on my new DID.

They had some kind of production problem so everyone's orders were cut. ElectronicStix.Com : ElectronicStix.Com has them and the sleeves.

Has anyone had both the mini vivi nova and the stardust V3?

I'd love to see a comparison. I bought a stardust V3 and made a noob mistake.
Since I was buying from health cabin with slow boat shipping, I convinced my self that I'd love'em and went overboard.
I bought two of them, an extra tube, an extra base, an extra drip tip and a pack of five heads.
I tried one for about half an hour and you guessed it, I don't like them.
The draw is too tight compared to the shorty cartomizers I've become accustomed to.
I'm going to list it all in the classifieds to recover some of what I spent before my wife kills me...

Anyway, I just placed an order with gotvapes and this time just for one of these mini vivi nova's to try it out.
I'm really hoping the draw is better on these than it was on the stardust. I figured I ask for opinions on how the two compare as I stalk the mailman waiting for it to arrive :)
Thanks!

for me the break in is no more than vaping .5ml at most.. i've been using my fav highbrow liquids and if you know highbrow they have light flavor liquids that are clean and tasty.. the vivi mini so far tastes slightly less flavorful then dripping directly on a hh357 drip atty.. but still plenty of flavor which is pretty good in my book for a ce2 type top coil

Air flow management is the only real difference between the Nova and the rebuildable Stardust. Which one is better is completly dependent on what PV you put them on because how the top of a PV is designed has as much to do with good air flow as the atty/carto does.
I modified the bottom of my mini Nova to get good air flow on my SS Vtube (see pic on P3) The Stardust gets the same good airflow on the SS Vtube with the use of a shorty extension.

Well, I will post this here for all of you Vivi users to help me on:

My 2.5 and mini are destroying some of my DIY and any help is appreciated. Here is what is happening:

Johnson Creek thin and light juice is fine, even more flavorfull than usual

My DIY (80PG/20, Capella single flavors)

    10% choc brownie--very strong so it's fine
20% cin danish -- very strong and fine

Raspberry 15% then 20% then 30% absolutely no flavor
Coconut 20% can taste it 3 hits then its gone

What's up? How can I not taste a 30% DIY at all and a commercial juice be fine? Anyone have a clue? My coconut and raspberry worked at 15% in A Phoenix Bottom coil... How can there be such a disparity in the juices??

I am not noticing a significant difference in draw between the mini nova and the nova, the mini has a tiny bit more air flow, and they're both right in the range I like, which is on the airy side. I've got the mini loaded with the new 3.2 ohm head on a 3.7 regulated battery, and it's perfect. I'm using a 2.8 head on my "lavatube" between 3.3 and 3.6v.
