The inner tube of v2.5 is longer than v2. Which leaves a small gap between the top cap and prone to flooding if not careful. They will work fine though. The v2.5 unit does work great. Wonderful vapor and TH. I use it more then anything else I have. I love it. No problems whatsoever.

I was wondering the same thing, but if you replace the v2 tube with the longer v2.5 tube, wouldn't the gap be even smaller than it is with the v2 tube? Meaning, wouldn't the top of the tube be closer to the top cap and produce less flooding? Thanks

Today, I received my Vivinova v2.5 head (2.8ohm) and am using it on my v2 tank. The longer wicks make a huge difference. I have been chain vaping it for awhile and have yet to get a dry hit like I was getting using the v2 with short wicks. I am tossing all my v2 heads-they just wont wick well enough for me to keep messing with. Version 2.5 is a winner!

I have a v2 ViVi Nova and am frustrated with it not wicking right-alot of burnt hits. I am going to upgrade to the 2.5v but do I need to get the whole new 2.5v ViVi Nova or would just getting the v2.5 heads make a difference? All the heads I currently have all have short wicks.

The V2.5 heads will have the longer wicks, this is the only difference.

This is not correct, V2 and v2.5 are the same except the V2.5 has longer wicks.

I'm looking at my V2.5 head right now and comparing it to my V2 head and there is another difference. The top of the V2.5's silicone cap is completely open, whereas the V2's silicone cap is mostly closed except for a tiny hole in the middle. Is your new one not open? It's more like a silicone sleeve now, instead of a silicone cap. That's what mine look like anyway.....

so what is the difference between v2 and 2.5?

Just longer wicks, apparently.

I believe there is more to it than just that... everyone that used the v2.5 heads in the v2 body have commented on how much better they taste... it would take more than just wicks to do that IMO

I got my v2.5 and it had a horrid taste, even after giving it a few dry burns. Had to take it apart and boil the head for a min or 2, Now its taste great.
Still has a really tight draw but a 510 to 510 adapter will sort that out

You can tap out the air holes a bit larger to help that. I only needed to tap one of the two and it was much more airy.
