The only time I drip is when I'm in front of the t.v. you can't drip driving in a car, out in public, doing anything... You add two drops or three and vape it three times then u gotta keep dripping... the flavor is amazing...

I used to use the carto in a tube tank but i'm done using cartos I hate them after using the vivi nova 2.5 version by got vapes... by far the best tank system ive used... the flavor is good not the greatest but the atomizers last so much longer and you get great quality vapes...

Well, this has been a particularly enlightening thread!

I've learned that I can't really drip unless I'm sitting in my mom's basement all day...
And I've learned that I can't do anything but just sit at a desk...

After dripping exclusively for the last three years, you'd think I'd have learned all this by now.
This weekend when I go to Sea World, and I'm dripping all day, I'll have to remember that what I'm doing is not possible.

Some people can do the impossible.

I have been having nothing but problems with my vivi novas lately. They don't want to wick, and the flavor is horribly muted and burnt.

I think in order of best to worse taste and vapor production I'd say

1. Genesis style rebuildable tanks
2. A good high quality glass carto tank
3. Vivi nova(on a good day)

I just stepped into the world of carto tanks and am gonna leave my novas in the drawer.

Ps. How are people calling vivi novas the best tank? Vivi novas aren't tanks. They're just oversized clearomizers. I didn't understand that at first but upon realizing that vivi novas still have clearomizer problems I see them as they are, a large clearomizer.

But I will second that I don't understand the love affair with dripping. I tried it and while the flavor is better, it's a VERY SMALL difference. Not nearly enough of a difference to hassle with dripping as a main method.

That's my €2.

Vivi's are indeed tanks. They're atomizer tanks, as opposed to cartomizer tanks. Until recently, I used Vivi's almost exclusively since the day they hit the market. I used to use cartomizer tanks, but took the opposite route of SethGrimm and put them away in favor of Vivi's and an occasional RBA for dripping when it's convenient. My Vivi collection is quite old now and I've spent virtually nothing on rebuilding the coils, outside of the cost of wick and wire. Anytime they don't want to wick or the flavor gets degraded, the solution is simple. Wind a new wick. Takes 5 minutes once you're proficient at it. In an hour, I can replace 10 Vivi coils for the cost of a single pre-punched carto, and they'll last 50 times longer.

The issue is most folks don't want to fiddle with making coil heads. A product should work as sold. You shouldn't have to go into engineer mode to get something to work. I actually loved the novas for a month and a half. I thought they were absolutely fantastic. But I've been getting nothing but muted inconsistent replacement heads. I enjoy fiddling to an extent but it seemed like I was fiddling more than vaping. Not to mention how bad the novas leaked.

And as someone who bought their heads already made as most vapers do, I was spending $15 for a five pack vs $6 for a five back of cartos. And while the materials you are using for them might produce heads that last longer than cartos that certainly isn't the case for the vision made heads. I vape 2mils a day and the atomizer heads lasted me two weeks before they just tasted like fire and produced barely any vapor. A good carto can last on average twice that.

Look, I'm not knocking novas. They're great clearomizers if you don't mind fiddling a bit and they're really easy to clean, and change flavors in, and they hold enough juice to get most vapers by. But I simply am not satisfied with them for my vaping style any longer.

To each their own. :)

Well, they must have changed something. I'm still using the ones I got when the first improved version, V2, came out. Never once have any of them leaked. As for their heads, I wouldn't know how the new ones perform. The old ones were fine, but they've all been recoiled multiple times. I usually end up using a head for a couple weeks, which is a lot longer than any carto ever lasted me before going all funky. Now, I'm talking about a couple weeks of daily use for a heavy vaper. Sure, I have cartos that have lasted me a year, if you count ones that I pull out every few weeks and take a puff or three. But, like you say, to each his own. The numbers just don't add up for me.

I like the Vision et. It can be used as a drip or a small tank. It does hold about 40 drops with out leaking. You can check the review on them.

I just started using them the other day. Using one right now, in fact. With the tank, it works the way the ego-t was supposed to work and never did. As a dripper, it's as good as some of the better dedicated dripping attys, and better than a lot of them. Strangely, they're built not by Vision, but by LG. They're one of the best finished pieces of hardware I've seen come out of China.

Just thought I'd throw my .02 in here. I started vaping (and still use) an eGo-C upgrade kit and am still happy with it for at work or when I'm out & about. I haven't had any leaking issues, and I get good life from the attys. I pull the 'spike' off & clean/dry burn them as needed and in 3+ months I've only thrown away 2.

About 6 weeks ago I bought a 1100mah eGo twist and a Mini-Nova v2.5 (long wick) and I love it! I read a lot of threads about them before I got it and the first thing I did was 'fluff' or un-twist the wick and pull out a couple of single strands. I also removed the little fibre 'cup' that sits around the coil. With regular cleaning and dry burning when I notice a decrease in performance I'm still using the same 2.4ohm head that I started with! No issues with leaking at all, and it has worked great with every juice I have tried so far.

I don't know if I have just been exceptionally lucky or what but I haven't had any of the more common problems with any of my gear so far. To be fair I have never tried any cartos or carto-tanks to compare against (they're next on my list to try) so I just may not know what I'm missing but so far I've got no complaints with my mini-nova.
