Hi Ali. On my Vivi tanks I have noticed that the silicone inner thats stuck in the original driptip fits perfectly down through the top cap into the lower seal and fixes this issue instantly. If you still have the original driptip I would take the little piece out of the driptip and feed it through the opened silicone upper seal, then replace the top metal end and you should be centered and virtually leak proof. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

I have 1 Vivi that, while attached to my PV, was dropped on the floor and the center post was knocked off center. If you look at the underside of the metal cap/ drip tip end you'll notice the metal flange that seals between the silicon cap and itself is quite wide so the chances of a non seal would be remote.

Hi all,

I have 2 vision vivi nova tanks, and have noticed the center pole is not exactly in the center, so the silicone thing on the top can not do a good job of sealing the tank. Has enyone noticed this? any ideas?

It's easy to cross-thread / misthead the Novas, I do it to my top probably 40% of the time unless I follow the below procedure.. try this once it's empty, or next time you'r ready to clean it

Unscrew the bottom, and then before screwing it back on.. turn in the counterclockwise position a turn or 2 to ensure that the threads will seat correctly, then tighten.

this may solve your issue.. it may not

Burning and dry hits are a wicking problem. I bought a vivi just to find out if all the hype was true, and was disgusted with the dry hits and burning so I set it aside and considered it a waste of money.

I had been thinking about recoiling clearomizers myself but considered myself "electronically challenged" to create a heating element on anything. That is, until I watched this video from pbusardo: A PBusardo Tutorial - Vivi Nova Cleaning & Rebuilding - YouTube

After watching it I told myself 'I can do that!' So got myself some kanthal wire from ebay and a skein of 100% cotton yarn from Hobby Lobby. Boiled a length of yarn and dried it and proceeded to recoil the original head that came with the vivi. Long story short, I haven't had any dry hits/burning from it, the cotton absorbs the ejuice from the tank immediately so you can pretty much chain vape and the taste is fantastic. And it cost me less than 10 cents per recoil, can't beat that!

I have noticed that it "sweats" from the bottom threading but I don't consider it a leak as it is not drops that come out, just more like condensation.

I'm getting confused here. The funny thing is that when I screw the 2.8 ohm head, it is off-center, and when I screw the 2.4 ohm head, it is much better (even though not 100% centered). I'm beginning to think the heads might be defective or lacking effective quality control procedures.

Checking the heads visually (without putting them on the base), there are no differences between them. At least nothing visible to the naked eye...
