I couldn't decide either and it seemed the community was pretty much split evenly between the T3 and Nova, so I said hell with it and bought one of each to try. In the end the Nova won out and it's been my main device since.

I'd say if you can spare the cash, get one of each and try them out yourself. Probably not the most ideal method, but there's a chance you could end up with all 3 devices anyway

Welcome , but have to agree with Blurgas . Buy one of each , and decide for yourself . Me , personally , started with Vivi's but have since switched to the Evod's and Baby T-3's , both bottom coil , so a bit cooler vape ( which I prefer ) and I think they're both actually cheaper the the Vivi . But that's just my opinion . Good Luck

I have used all 3 and don't like a hot TH. The EVOD is by far my favorite atty. It is killing me because my IBTanked, protank and phiniacs look so much better on my mods. Oh well. I've got an RBA and a RBA dripping atty ordered as well as some more EVODS. Maybe I'll find something I like as well.
:) Maybe I just need to find ego batteries in matching colors!

I've been using an EVOD lately and I really like it. I tried sourcing new heads for my Vivi Novas but they're hard to come by right now so I picked up the EVOD and a Vapeonly BCC.

I don't like the BCC. Flavor becomes muted much too quickly, the coil and wicks are hard to clean, carbon buildup seems to happen much quicker than with the Vivi Nova. Messing with the wick can cause flooding and then it's basically useless.

The EVOD is nice, I like the smaller tank, and it works in my VAMO with or without an adapter. The great thing about using it without an adapter is that I can adjust airflow.

is it true that the Evod head will fit on a t3/mt3?

The T3 replacement head includes the bottom cap all in 1 piece whereas the Evod head removes from the bottom cap. They aren't interchangeable. However, the Evod head works fine, if not better, in the Kanger ProTank.

Which is best? I was gonna go with the vivi but im hearing about others that may be better like bottom feeders? I want a nice cool hit like I get from Blu Menthol disposables. Thanks

dave

I know that this is a slightly older thread but I'm posting in hopes that this may help someone else with the same problems I've had.

I've been struggling with this same question so I ordered an EVOD (also have a protank 2 on the way) so, FWIW, here is what I've found.

Vivi Nova tanks are awesome. I have three large tanks and three mini tanks. Over the last few months the mini has become my favorite as the taste of my e-liquid really shines in the mini where it seems somewhat muted in my larger tanks. I use the factory 1.8-Ohm heads (they all measure at ~1.9-2.0 Ohms though) on an ego-style battery running at 3.7-3.8V. In this setup I have found no other combination of tank (cartomizer, clearomizer, or other tank) that provides the easy, flavorful hits that the mini Nova tank does. However, the Nova tanks for their own drawbacks - tank threading can be finicky and can sometimes leak if you're not careful and you constantly have to tilt and swirl to make sure the wick is saturated. Also, even with the thread cover/adapter the 510 connection seems somewhat fragile and can easily be bent due in a pocket or dropping your PV resulting in poor performance and leaking.

I really wanted to like the EVOD. The ego threading makes it really solid and I really don't have any issues with gurgling or leaking. However, the factory 1.8-Ohm heads, while producing lots and lots of vapor, really does mute the flavor of my e-juice - so much that rebuilding the atomizer was the last thing to try before ditching the EVOD altogether. The rebuild is easy, in theory, but it took me a number of tries before I really got it vaping the way I wanted it to. My current build is a 3mm silica wick with 32 AWG Kanthal wire. 5 semi-tight coils (to make sure all coils are in contact with the wick but not tight enough to impede wicking) yields a ~1.7-1.8 Ohm coil that is just outstanding. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it would accept my standard drip tips.

At 3.7V, the flavor is just a tad less than that of my mini Nova tank. This is an acceptable trade off considering the connection is much more rugged, the throat hit is outstanding (don't even need the few drops of Menthol I was using for that purpose), and it uses less juice than my Vivi Nova. Also, since I use Vision Spinners and an Innokin itaste, I can just turn the voltage up slightly to 3.8 and 3.9V and instantly out-perform the Nova tank in all categories. I generally don't go over 4.2V at all.

I'm looking forward to using these coils in my ProTank 2 (and later, maybe, a Protank 2 mini)!

Overall, these are both great-performing tanks which will stay in my rotation for a good long while - each for specific purposes. The mini Viva Nova, in my eyes, is the hands down winner out-of-the-box. However, the Kanger EVOD outperforms it in all aspects once you do a successful, custom rebuild of the coil/wick assembly.

NOTE: I currently only uses 70/30 PG/VG e-liquid for vaping. I have not tested it with my other e-liquids yet but I do have 50/50 juices that I haven't used for a long time that might just work for me now.

Just for you I created a very cool vape. Ran out to the garage and cut off a piece of tubing.

There... now you can vape menthol flavors as cool as possible before it condenses back
