so the local supplier i buy my juice and supplies from have a sale right now on the vivi nova tanks. i am considering buying one but ive heard they have a few issues. i have heard they leak and the coils seem to burn out very quick. right now i use the T2 tanks with a 510 battery and it usually last about 3 1/2 weeks before i have to change out the wicks. i like the ideal of the vivi nova cause it holds more juice.

so my question is are they worth purchasing ? i think they are usually $13-14 but they have them on sale for $8.99.

I had the regular plastic Vivi Nova, was a clone, not a genuine vision product, that I bought from Evcigarettes. Quality seemed pretty good. I really liked it until it cracked in my pocket when sitting down. I have heard about some of the clones leaking, but mine didn't. If you can get your hands on the Pyrex Vivi Nova that's even better.

No more plastic for me. But that is my preference.

I bought a VISION Vivi Nova, from my local BM,as a courtesy buy,it was 9.99. I was not impressed at first, but have grown to like it and plan to buy another. It is easy to clean and fill and I like it. I use the Texas Tuff tank,a carto tank,it can handle any juice I put in it and I use citrus, cinnamon and Licorice. I have not tried those juices in my Vivi,as I don't trust it to handle the acidity. I do like the VISION vivi Nova. I bought it at the end of July and have been using two of the 3 heads it came with, with no problem.

I'm fairly new to all this, but the vision vivi nova is the best i have tried so far (a few different cartos and a couple of tanks including kanger protank). I've maybe refilled it (3.5ml) a dozen times or so and still not felt the need to change the coil. It's never leaked and I've only had a tiny bit of gurgle from it but that was my fault for overfilling it and as soon as the liquid level dropped that stopped. I use the metal tubes with the window.

I'd suggest biting the bullet and getting a protank 2.you won't regret it

The protank has its own set of problems. I have used the novas since they came out and continue to do so for about 80% of my vaping.

The Vision branded vivi novas are great but you have to GET THE MINI, not the full sized model. The full sized model, due to design often does leak and provide a ton of dry hits. The mini performs flawlessly.

I've also used a number of vivi nova clones, some are ok and some aren't.

Here is an interesting product from Fasttech. They are about $6 and change. These things work great and look much better than the original vivi nova. The top coil design is the same and they look fantastic on any mod. Replacement heads are about $6 for a 5 pack but I recoil/rewick them myself. Check them out:

I agree, go ahead an get one. Just know that most delivery devices have their own pros and cons and the Vivi Nova is no exception.

You just need to remember to keep those wicks wet - twirling the clearo if necessary - especially when your juice level gets a little low.

You will also probably encounter some degree of gurgling from the clearo at some point. This can be caused by overfilling, temperature changes (going from AC to heat outside etc) and bad seals.

Most issues with the Vivi can be fixed yourself just by fiddling. Every single clearo you buy will have some degree of fiddling necessary to get it to perform optimally. There are a ton of threads all discussing these issues, so if you buy one and have a less than stellar experience, you'll be able to find the answers on how to fix it right here.

Not trying to bust you out Desmond but that may be subjective, I have both and I prefer my Vision vivi nova over the Kanger Protank no doubt protanks are nice but I just like my vivis better.:)

Just remember to tilt and twirl between hits.

That's a negatori Smith0826. Top coils are preferred by some, but not by most, if you believe the countless threads on this subject. In addition to wicking problems, dry hits, and position dependence, they do provide a warm vape with a top coil. Most vapers, from what I can tell, though, prefer bottom coils, like Kangers, because they wick better, few, if any, dry hits, and are position independent. It's all personal preference, but I haven't used a top coil in months, myself. If it were me, though, I would have to get one just to check it out for myself...and, that's why I have one of everything, and more of the stuff I like and use. Just part of the journey. Can't go wrong...you can only gain vape experience for yourself. Good luck!

Everyone has their preferences on here. What works for one person may not work for the next. Ive used both the smoktech and vision vivi novas for months until i found the protank. Now i have multiple protanks and protank2's and have given all my vivi novas away. More hassle then they are worth IMHO. Maybe try both and see which turns ur crank.

If my local discounted these to this price, I'd pick up 2-3 for sure.

I've tried a bunch of clearos since I started vaping and have found this to be the most satisfactory vape of the bunch, which included the protank, stardust, T5 and a couple of others that I can't recall at the moment. Of course, it all comes down to preferences. In my experience, the vivi produces a good amount of (warm-ish) vapor, has a medium draw, and is really easy to maintain. For me, that's perfect and I don't expect to move on until I can't get these anymore. If your preferences are similar, you'll probably appreciate the vivi.

That said, I'm very interested in the iClear 30 and would like to try some carto-based system at some point.

For that price make sure that they are true genuine Vivi Nova's. The biggest waste of money I spent was on a Vivi Nova clone. What an absolute piece of junk that is/was. Like many others, the Protanks are very solid, wick much better, don't look like an octopus, and use glass tanks so you don't have to worry about what kind of juice you put in there. I also like them a lot because you can quickly switch juices without cleaning the wicks. Almost right away you are tasting your new juice.

I love my protank but frankly like my Valley View Vapes cartotank much better. It was very inexpensive and holds much more juice. It's not pretty (bought one of his economy tanks) but it works well and is easy to fill without removing the tank. My only reservation is that these damn pre-punch Boge cartos don't wick worth a darn. $9-$10 gets you a 5 or 6ml tank with a Boge carto. Can't beat that deal.
