i only have one mod - the big chuck. i use it at 3.7 and works great with v4l cartos (the only one i use). i chose the big chuck because i can also use it at 6v. i can't say the chucks are the best because its the only mod i've tried. what i can say is that it works great for me - battery lasts me at least 2 full days, i do 1-2 cartos per day. great customer service too. just check out their sub-forum :) i plan on buying another mod, but i'll wait a while. i haven't used my v4l batts since i got my chuck. just the pass-thru.

Dear Intel:

Could you please email me your product roadmap for the next 18 mo?

kthx

I asked 2 simple questions and as a LOYAL customer wanted to stick with V4L if I could. And thankfully Steve replied.

I didn't ask manufacturer, specs, or anything crazy...back off, you go too far sometimes.

I didn't think you did anything wrong. It was a fair question. Vendors/manufacturers have a habit of "leaking" out "future" releases or products before they are ready for primetime. It's called marketing. The vendor is keeping your interest up by pre-announcing future products. In their defense, there is also nothing wrong with that. What is funny though is if "we drink the koolaid". Different brands have their koolaid drinkers. I happen to have drank the Harley-Davidson Koolaid :p:D .

Anyway, are you going to the East Coast meetup in Fredericksburg??

I WANT to go to the East Coast Meetup. I have been watching threads on this forum and others. Last time I checked they didn't have a meeting room and I really feel weird about showing up to a hotel and hanging out in other peoples rooms when I don't even know them. I live so close I don't need my own room.

Oh and OT, have you done the Rolling Thunder ride? I rode last summer with my cousin who is an Iraq Vet (Purple Heart). It was awesome! Pics! TONS of them from Fairfax Harley-Davidson to DC.

Yes, I've done Rolling Thunder the last few years :) And it is an AWESOME experience. Nothing like a few hundred thousand of your fellow riders rolling down the road, paying respects to our service men and women (past, present, future, POW, MIA). I served 8 years of active duty in the USAF.

I bought my latest bike (09 Ultra Classic) from Patriot HD (what you called Fairfax HD). Maybe we'll get to meet someday. :)

That would be cool, If you don't have a rider for this years rolling thunder and want one let me know :D My cousin can't make it because I guess his wedding is more important. :nun: Bless that girl.

I have always called Patriot HD Fairfax HD, I worked next door while they were building it. I was a bartender at Tino's Sports Bar which is under another name now. But the Italian place next door to Patriot HD.

Did you do the Patriot Ride this year before Rolling Thunder? Being alone on 66 with nothing but Bikes was AMAZING!

I'm she feels sorry for letting you down by getting married during memorial day weekend :)

I have done a "Ride of the Patriot", as Patriot HD calls it. It's way cool. But even cooler if you ARE on the bike :)

I would give you a ride, done it before with an almost total stranger (female). But I don't think my wife would appreciate that much :) Besides, since I've done Rolling Thunder 7 years in a row, we've decided to go Amish this time - riding with a bunch of friends to Intercourse, PA and spending the long weekend there.

You're second person I know that's asked me if they can ride with me to rolling thunder. :)

HAHA I WAS on the bike! Just the back seat ;) Plus the 5 hours of waiting in the parking lot at the Pentagon I feel my ticket is stamped :)

I make sure everyone I know who rides knows that I am always a willing passenger :) Especially for Rolling Thunder.
