I too was facing this conundrum a couple weeks ago and could not justify spending an extra $(insert best price difference of your choice for provari here) for the provari, but spending an extra $20ish on the VMax over the lavatube made sense

In the end I've found both are great, and I'm sure you'll be thrilled with either

Got my SS Vmax from CCV 3 days ago and couldn't be more pleased. Using a 2.5 vivi nova tank. Can only compare to the 808 that I first bought which is anemic in comparison to the Vmax. First hit and all I could think was "WOW! Now this is vaping!" Good luck with your purchase.

I am using the same setup and my vote goes to the vmax.
It's a vapor monster.

mate! chuck a few more bucks at it and get a provari - trust me thats the best advice you'll recieve, i've had a whole bunch of mods over the past year and finally got a couple of provari's through the classified section on UKVapers and i wish i'd bought one a year ago and saved all that money that i spent on chinese (EDIT).
