FAIL. The madvapes one doesn't even have a channel. There is air flow but no power to the battery, I guess.

So did you? If so, did it work? I started another thread on this topic because I'm getting all confused ... 808, 808-1, or -d ... maybe I should just save my money and not try the 808?

i have the same problem with my 808 auto bats and an 808 to 510. no vapor with 510 cartos :/

Mine came with a normal center pin installed on the 510 connection and a separate, slotted center pin which wasn't installed. This second pin had to be inserted on the 808 connection and screwed into the other pin. It would be very easy to not see that tiny pin and have it fall out of the baggie when you remove the adapter.
You could also try to see if your other adapter from V4L was made the same way, assuming you kept it. If so, you could probably use that center pin to fix your new one.

Seriously? An 808? I started on one + it failed to give me enough juice delivery options or battery life. Not to mention vapor.
A new vaper needs , at a minimum, an Ego Twist or Vision Spinner. They are 510 threaded (also Ego), which will give you a multitude of cartomizer and clearomizer options. It'll enable you to utilize todays technology. Not the 2010 stuff that absolutely sucks.
A Kanger evod or Kanger Pro Tank with 1.8 ohm head is a dam good vape on a $20 mod (twist or Spinner)
If you live near me you can come here to my house and try out a multitude of mods.

Ok..... I have used spinners and twists, which is how I found out I like 3.6 v in the first place... And in fact that and my hh357 is my main device... My evods rock but they are collecting dust since I started dripping, as well as my aga-t. Thank you for your suggestions but ill never stop the search for a good auto with a cig alike feel and ok battery life...( that doesn't mean I won't still be buying a provari or vamo : ) ) and I only use 510 stuff, hence the adapter issue.

My evods collect dust too. Just too dam low capacity to bother filling.
I only have 2 devices with flush fire buttons and I'm not a fan of recessed type buttons.

I'm trying to decide whether to canibalize the buttons from my 510's and superglue them on to my volt buttons... Lol
