I got my premium Volt kit (with two more additional 78mm bats) two days ago. I tried all the flavors in the Sweet sampler (really liked the Grape, may become my go-to flavor). I didn't experience the cloud of vapor that I saw in the videos, however I still did get the flavor and throat hit that I expected. I had made certain that the batteries were fully charged before trying, so I guessed the small amount of vapor was due to my draw. Taking a larger draw led me to coughing.

I had also ordered the 1300 X2 and a X2 clearomizer with a bottle of Ice Menthol. I carefully filled the clearomizer as demonstrated in the videos and vaped with the passthru. Again, not much vapor production, but the same flavor and throat hit as with the 78mm batteries/cartos. The Ice Menthol flavor was close to my Marlboro Menthol Lites, which I had planned would help ease me away from the analogs.

I have to admit, at least at this early stage, I prefer the larger battery/clearomizer combo. It's not as large of a unit as I had envisioned it would be, so I likely won't be shy vaping this in public. It's actually about the size of some cigar analogs. It fits nicely in a front shirt pocket. I used it in the car on my ride to and from work today, and at home I use the pass thru as I carry it and the 1.5 wall adapter with me from room to room (looks like I will need to eventually pick up a couple more 1.5 wall adaptors for convenience). I am attracted to the longer battery time and larger juice supply without needing to be concerned about changing batteries/cartos like with the 78mm.'s.

to get more vapor your lungs have to get used to vaping first to where you do not cough... and then also take long slow drags like drinking through a straw not the fast hard pulls we are used to from analogs... most of the reviews you see are from long time vapors who can 1) take very long pulls as their lungs are used to vaping and not smoking and 2) have masterd the draw of the slow long softer inhale ...and holding it in your throat ..letting it build up then inhaling all at once.

Yeah, like I said, I attributed the lack of vapor quantity to my "draw", or lack of proper technique. I'll try your suggestions and appreciate your advice.

Little update: I got the X2 clear and X2 batt about 4 hours ago. At first there was little vapor production, but after an hour or so I started getting some nice clouds.

Two things I noticed though:
1. The throat hit seems "hotter"
2. The big one..the flavor is "off", I cant quite put my finger on it, but it just isnt there as it was with the standard Volt carts/batts.

I do like the tank...no leaks so far. And the battery is huge and I expect it to last much longer...

I will still vape it some more and hopefully it will improve even more.

the X2 does not come fully charged like the standard batteries... it only comes with a partial charge.

Got my clearomizers today...they are the best!! We are pretty new to vaping and started with the 808 stick batts which are fine for us, but I decided to get a couple X2's to use at home after work while the others are charging, plus I like the passthru feature. So after reading a bit about these I ordered a few. Received them today, filled one up with RY4 from KBV and haven't put the damn thing down! I like the look, the vapor, the taste, everything! And so easy to fill! Great job Smokeless Image!

My XL cartos and clearomizers came today! I haven't tried the XLs yet but since they came while my granddaughter was here I already have one box less than I received. I only got two clearos and wouldn't part with one of them. I'm a mean grandma!

Okay.....I filled one clearo with SI's chocolate and one with NLV's Line Rider. OMG! The flavor is intense! I didn't think anything could improve on SI's cartos, but these clearos are outstanding. But I'm having the same problem as Zap, the nicquid is going down so fast. I even checked to make sure it wasn't leaking out, but, NO....no leaks.

After giving it some thought I think it seems to be going down fast because I can see the liquid, while I can't see it going down in a carto. Might be I'm over-vaping too because it's just so darn good.

In case anyone wants to know, I'm using two of the 650 autos. I'm thinking I need one of the 900 autos and the other six colors of the clearos. Oh dear.....I think I'm in trouble....

I'm gonna need to order these new batts and clearomizers it seems. I still need to find a liquid I can buy in large quantity that won't make me break out in a rash. How are these with 100% Vg because I will not use pg again until my rash goes away to see if that is a culprit. Can't wait to try these out.

Like so many others, I got my clearo today too (just one). I am letting it wick for a few minutes while I write this. I also got the XL cartos. Not happy at the moment - something must be wrong with the filler, cuz I put in like 10 drops and they just sit there in a puddle on top. Setting aside to see if it will eventually soak in. There is also a much bigger empty gap between the top of the filler and the top of the carto, not sure if that is by design or not.

OK time to try the clearo.....

Holy smokes! Guess I need to buy a few more now.

they should handle them better then our cartos actually as there is no filler to go through to get to the wick

hmm ok the fact that they have no cutoff may make you drain mah faster then you did on the stick size.... sorry about that

I wasnt taking very long draws, I was treating it just like I treated the original Volt I have. I really doubt the 1300 X2 drained in the first 20 or so puffs I tried.

Im not knocking SI at all, Im just doing a real time review as I go because I have nothing better to do at the moment.

BUT: I was going to say this before I seen your reply. I just tried my other new clearomizer, it works 10x better. The draw is earier, the vapor and flavor are all much better than the first one. I ordered two and received them today. I am using the same batt on both, its still going strong.
