I'm gonna need to order these new batts and clearomizers it seems. I still need to find a liquid I can buy in large quantity that won't make me break out in a rash. How are these with 100% Vg because I will not use pg again until my rash goes away to see if that is a culprit. Can't wait to try these out.

I can't help you with that, I've never used 100% VG. This is also the first clearomizer I've tried so I don't know a lot about them either. Geez, I'm a real washout! lol Someone who is more knowledgeable about clearos and VG may come along and answer that for you. :)

no worries I am just trying to help you trouble shoot... because the 1300 mah battery should last you approx 4x 78mm batts worth if it's not and you are vaping the way you say there may be an issue. :(

I wasnt taking very long draws, I was treating it just like I treated the original Volt I have. I really doubt the 1300 X2 drained in the first 20 or so puffs I tried.

Im not knocking SI at all, Im just doing a real time review as I go because I have nothing better to do at the moment.

BUT: I was going to say this before I seen your reply. I just tried my other new clearomizer, it works 10x better. The draw is earier, the vapor and flavor are all much better than the first one. I ordered two and received them today. I am using the same batt on both, its still going strong.

I use 100% VG in my clearomizers and they work great for me.

I've had almost no problem with 100 VG in mine.

However as it gets lower, the wick-moistening gets kind of difficult and at about the .4 ml point it's pretty much not going anywhere.

Sze, the VG liquids I got from ECBlend are clear...not dark at all...even the tobacco. It seems to be the general consensus that dark liquids are harder on cartos, so if you're looking for clear, ECBlend seems to be a good choice and they offer a pretty good selection of VG if PG is a problem for you.

That's cool I thought EC offered only reduced Pg not 100% VG but I will double check. I've been ordering crazy juice samples from all sorts of sites. I think I may order a batt and clearo today, what the hell. I bet it will get here before my juice though!

Side vape? Is that something where you have to hold the e cig a certain way?

Ok, after a day of use, I realize that I actually use LESS e juice than I thought. I like the measurement lines because I can keep track of my daily consumption. I use about 1.5 ml at 18mg during the day on a work day... Waaay less than I thought. I switch to 10-12 mg at night and I estimate that I use 2mg at night. That is a total of 3.5ml a day. I once told someone that I use 6-7 a day...

Must be nice, not having any liquid wasted on filler absorption...(don't have one of these yet)

I've made that exact same discovery since I started using tanks and these clearos!

I thought I was using at least 5mls per day -- although I'm a crazy flavor-switcher, like Rave (;)), so it's hard to tell. I think I thought that because I'm such an obsessive carto-topper-upper. :p

Now that I can "see" what I'm vaping from a 6ml tank or a 1.6ml clearo, I'm pretty sure I really only vape about 2-3mls per day.

So why is it again that I'm so broke from vaping?? (Oh yeah, that's right, it's because I have eleventy-hundred bottles of juice in my vape station, in various stages of steepage :laugh:)

Even if I used 5 a day, I have to say that I have, ahem, over ordered.

Ordered 3 of these. Filled them with Peachwood, Pomegranate, and Hawaiian Pineapple. Performance is outstanding, they are easy to fill (out of a 15 or 30 ml bottle, using a dropper), absolutely no fuss, no mess, to tinkering. Flavor is excellent, like having a perpetually fresh cartomizer. These things are actually more self-contained than a cartomizer; I'm in love.

I should have ordered more than two. These clearos are terrific! Easy to fill...allow all the flavor to come through...don't leak...hold lots of nicquid...and they're very pretty and stylish! I am definitely ordering more of these so I can have a bigger variety of flavors set up and ready to vape.

I'm still using the regular slim Volts. They're so portable and give me just as much of a hit as the bigger batteries, they just have to be charged more often. I'm still hoping that SI comes out with a clearomizer made for our 65mm and 78mm bats. Okay, Imagine, I know . . . I'm a real PITA! :D

If they were to do such a wondrous thing, it would be fantastic if they would use the same basic design as the one SteelJan reviewed in her last review video (the Phoenix or CE3 carto). I've been testing one for about a week and I'm extremely impressed. She was right on all points. *of course* Sadly, they are not available (that I've seen) for 808 threading.
