The RULE OF THUMB(so named because we ProVinati like to use our thumbs for the button, it's classier that way, don't ask why), is that you take your ohm rating, and just add 2 to it, then adjust up or down from there to taste.

The reason is, this gets you roughly close to 8 watts, which is the sweet spot for a lot, but not all vapors out there. Once you get a better feel you'll come up with your own random number to add to it that is closer to your ideal vape.

I agree with usually starting around your resistance plus 2 but really it's all about what tastes good to you. You'll find that some liquids taste better with a lower voltage and some with higher voltage. Don't be shy in changing it - when I use a regulated mod, I change mine a lot during the day depending on the vape I want at that particular moment.

Start low and adjust up until you get a vape that tastes good. Even if you get a slightly burnt taste, you won't cause any damage and can just turn it down a notch or two.
