Voltmeter with PTN04050C mod?

Hello there!
I got a freebie PTN04050C booster, and now I'm lining up to make a mod out of it.
Before I start, I'd like to ask a few quick questions:

1. Will the madvapes' voltage display work with it? I heard that it has issues with some boosters and LDOs
2. Does it use PWM or does it output constant provari-esque voltage?

With just the booster it will work fine, but if you add a digital pot to the circuit, that wont play right with it. A analog pot no problem. I'm assuming you want the meter with it for VV checking, yes?

You're correct, I intend to use an analog pot.
At the beginning, I'll only use the voltmeter to display the output voltage, but at later time I intend to wire it so it can show the battery power level as well.

Do you happen to know if the booster uses PWM?

Yes it does include a PWM, you can see it mentioned on p.12 of the spec sheet, but it delivers a stable voltage output that the voltage meter can read. Circuits that regulate via PWM that pulse full voltage to deliver a percentage of the voltage, like an ego, do this quicker than the meter can take a reading, so the meter is 'all over the place'.

Excellent, thank you! I was asking about PWM cause I wanted to know if I need to be gentler with the voltage, since most people say that PWM feels higher than the actual reading
