Adapters are kind of a use at your own risk type thing. Some are great and some aren't. However, if you really enjoy the 801 or 901 experience...getting the 801 native Woodvil might be a better option.
6v is the only way I roll with my Reo Grand and woodvil the AW LiFePO4 is the ultimate Batt for this set up that I have found, there quality is just second to none. Also the adapters that R & R Manufacturing sells have a small Brass feed tube built into the adapter, this gets your liquids right up to the carto or Atty very nicely and they work best, just my personal observation.!
Yes. Adapters, if not properly adjusted, can cause REO's (and other pvs) to short out. You can use adapters if you are careful, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are aware of the potential problem and have some experience using them.
yeh i definately wont be using them anytime soon then lol. My Reo is set to arrive today in the mail but i wont be there to sign so its goign to be tomorrow befor i get my first Reo,, AAAARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
