Back from a lot of driving on some fairly coarse gravel, beautiful weather and good friends made it a fine escape from the digital world and the workshop!

Prepping for a bath at dusk. -20 C at night here so a hot soak and a vape is the best way to finnish the day...

The tripp with a couple of bull tahr trophies, unfortunately not mine, no time for me to hunt on this trip. Did spot a couple of good bulls though, great to see as this is the only place in the world where hunting of Himalayan Tahr is possible.

New updated list, 4nic8 has dropped off due to being practicly ready to go. I will start making in blocks of four as too many conversations at once can get confusing!

Back to working on sourcing new materials now, and a dual battery mosfet mod is in the pipeline, but will be a while away as concentrating on the list is primary. In saying that I will always have a random piece going that brings in a new material or technique, or different style of device. I do really want to keep doing something different as the same type of device can get familiar in the making sense, and I want to challenge myself to see what I can create that differs from others on the market.

Looks like I'm getting close to needing to decide on my wood! LOL I will get a pm to you vaughn. I am stuck between Red Beech Burr with the sintered copper and that ebonized oak with the copper. Do you still have the ebonized oak/copper available?

On it's way to me now...

Buffalo horn for 8 mods, Buckeye burr, 2 pieces of very nicely figured walnut, and 1 of indian rosewood...will be nice to try some timbers I haven't worked before, with darker colours than are available in NZ varieties. These are available to those on the top of the list first... and there will be more of these kinds of timbers in the future!

I have been thinking of the oak you did for 4nic8, possibly with bone end caps. Though, if I am not too far down the list I'd like a walnut...or worst case a rosewood. ***

I think I went from 10th to 6th, so possible?

*** I still have two classical guitars (left), two ukuleles, and, a violin. I'm "into" woods. ;) But also metals: horns. :)

Ill see what the others at the top would like first as they have first dibs. I can always get more in too... the oak and bone are possible no problem cheers.

Kiwi has landed! Gorgeous!! The single vapes great, very different design than anything else out there, getting used to the ins and outs. no issues dropping a battery in and going to town. I might suggest testing them with unflavored juice, there is a note of something altering my day vanilla. It is super tiny as said before, smallest 18650 mod I've ever seen, pics to come
Thanks Vaughan!
