Hey Halons, I finally got a VV! Yayyy! A quick question. I know the obvious red line that goes down vertically is the voltage marking, but I have like a red mark about .5-.6 away. I'm guessing this is just a blemish or error when they marked it(picturing a guy marking all the batts, nodding off and brushed mine again in a different spot by accident lol), but I wanted to check with you guys before I try to take it off. Seems to be working fine though. Knock on wood.

My red stripe isn't just painted on. There is a cut into the knurling, and that cut is filled with the red paint. But just the one. And it's the same on both of mine, black and blue.
If it was anything else, I'd say live with it. But this is a pricey item. I would take a pic of it, and contact Halo Customer Service. They are busy, it takes a bit of time, but they do not drop the ball. (Of course, Cinder Ella will see to that!!)
Geez, I just saw you are in North Jersey. Maybe you could just do an exchange in person, cause if they wanted you to send the current one, I doubt you'll want to be without it!!!

Curious Dave, which one did u buy and which was given to you today? I'm gonna guess blue bought, black given?
I bought 2, blue and black. I knew I'd like it, and had to have a back-up. I'm prolly gonna give or sell cheap my 650mAh irridesc kit to my new (hot) neighbor who smokes, but was interested in mine...
The one I won today will also be blue, and I might swap it for some juice.

it's worth the risk, and if you moved in his gun cases, then just steal his keys. now he's disarmed!
