Given the cost $1.60 each and the cost of a pack of cigs in NY $10.00 for the cost of just 4 cigarettes I just toss the carto. I get descent use of cartos so I just put on a new one and off I go.

Dan, I don't think you can / should clean cartos. They have filler in them that would absorb the vodka. I have read where people soak attys in vodka, but attys don't have filler. I would toss em.

As to batteries, since using RBA's with 1.2 ish ohm coils, batteries drain faster than with 1.7 ohm cartos. Math would confirm the logic.

When I used a KR808 w/cartos I re-filled mine. I soaked and boiled them and let them dry a couple days. They still worked but the taste was never too good. People do clean and re-use, but I didn't find the practice of cleaning to work very well. I would just re-fill without cleaning.

So glad those days are over. Now I use cartos on my REO till they become to tight and toss them.

Just so everyone can sleep at night, I thought I would let you know that the VV Grand arrived today! Here is a picture of it with it's new family. Hope this photo works or this will be a very lame post.

Thanks Robert. And thank you for the mods! See that poor beat up Mini classic? Man that thing has taken abuse and still functions like the day I got it....it does get ignored now because of it's small battery but it still gets a workout once in a while as a stealth device.
I noticed it had some miles on it my polished grand looks very similar used but loved just the same .
