I am getting a dryer hit from Nichrome than kanthol. Is this all in my head. Silica is the bomb. Horray. .

Your right on track in my opinion,,, I get better flavor from Kanthal myself, I've tested making the exact same coils with both NiChrome and Kanthal,,Kanthal is best, just my opinion,, it's because of the properties it is made up from over the Nichorme properties..... I run lots of different AWG's of Kanthal, one I really like is a braided 34awg taking 2 pieces and making them into one by tightly braiding them together, a 5 coil wrap around double 2.5mm silica 5 coils net me 1.5ohm. 28AWG & 30AWG are super too for single coils.... and 500 mesh wicks super. Been running the Fatty V2 RBA and it is one kick Azz RBA with 3 small air holes at the coil and adjustable air flow cap this RBA is Killer. Both the ERA & Fatty RBA's are better then HH-357 Atty's all day long.

Got my VVG in today, all I can say is Wow. I kept saying to myself when I opened it was WOW. Love the button, the black anodized is awesome, can't believe I waited this long to get that one, as the black always speaks to me. The silver vein on the door (the back of the door is almost polished) is perfect. Looks like Rob knocked it out of the park again.

I had to get it at the P.O. I opened the package there since I needed the packing material to send off the other REO. I stood there looking at it and then remembered where I was! It was tough to put it back in the box and drive home!

It is every much as cool as you said! The button, it is almost like it is not even there! Just a slight bump with the finger and it fires! The color and finish, wow, just plain freaking wow! Can't wait to show it to Kim tomorrow!

It vapes great too! Put on a 2.5 atty and it is rocking it!

I can hardly wait for DH to try the new VVG button. I sent him off this week with newly installed REO button-bud on his travel Mini. He texted me today that he took it off because it kept getting stuck down. Hummmmmmmmmmmm I haven't had that issue with any.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

I likey :) Very fast to get up and running, used my inline meter to set it at 4.5v, my normal setting at 2.5 ohms.

Question - on refilling, is it better to just unscrew the main bottle and remove that, or does the feed tube pop off easily, so you remove the whole thing. I unscrewed the bottle, left the rest of the assembly in the unit, for initial fill.

Gotta add a paint marking at 4.5v.

Leave the tube and cap attached to the unit .
You can remove it but I wouldn't unless you had to for cleaning purposes

I don't really measure voltage any more- I turn it down until the taste and vapor are great and just leave it as low as possible for whatever atty I'm using. I find that sometimes more power is over-kill and lessens battery live and since it only goes up to 12watts, turning it up too high cuts things off depending on the atty's ohms.

Rob my kill me for this but I have to do it.

Here is a oldie but a goodie on how to remove the bottle from the REO. This is an original REO but the principle is the same, There is some other stuff that is irrelevant being that the original Wood REO was an 801 set up but this is a good classic REO vidio. (So disregard all else but the How to change the bottle)

From what I remember that is Rob playing in the back ground of the Video :)

If you drop to 2 ohms you can get 15w out, though that has not been tempting to me.

I've been vaping the same mix for a long time, > 95%at 4.5v, 2.5 ohms. A yellow reference just makes it faster to reset.

(wore off the reference on my old tube pv)

Simple flat black with the atty/sleeve/dt stainless, works for me:)

I loved that old video! Anymore gems like that hanging around? I had never seen that.

Mark, I always mark mine at 4.5v or 5v as well. Just kinda lets me know how far I am turning it. Sometimes when you put different atomizers on it you adjust it, this way you don't search as long for your sweet spot, and you at least have one frame of reference so you don't turn it up to jesus and pop an atty. I use bright red nail polish, then a coat of clear, just like my toes. Wait, jk on the last part....OR AM I?
