I received my black on black VVG yesterday! I drove around for about a half hour trying to catch up to the mail man, I finally picked it up from the post office a little after 6:00 PM. It was worth the drive!!! This is truly a great mod. Thanks to Robert and everyone involved,Dave.

I thought I would be vaping my new VV Grand right about now but it seems the USPS messed up again and it didn't show. Tracking says expected delivery 09/13 but it never came. I am hoping for tomorrow. That makes 2 packages they screwed up on that were supposed to be here today. Both happen to be Priority too. I was supposed to have my NLV juice along with my new Reo. The other package says it went all the way to Norfolk, Va so at least my Reo is in the right state. I guess i will survive til tomorrow. Luckily still have my VV Woodvil to hold me over.

Well I got my Orange VVG today! It didn't come in the mail... it said it would deliver today but it didn't. I had to have my wife come home from work and pick me up to go to the post office because my Jeep has a broken cooling fan and I went to the PO and picked it up. Well, actually TWICE she came home from work to take me to the PO . She's good like that! The first time a very unhelpful shrew cast me from the office with no REO in my hands, but then around 4:00 I looked at the tracking and it said that the postal worker left me a notice in my mailbox. Being that my mailbox is like a mile from my house I couldn't get there on foot in time to alarm my wife to come pick me up... again so she (being the sweetheart she is) just came anyway without even knowing if there was any cheese on the other end of the string. Anyway after dinner at a Mexican Restaurant I am now using my new VVG! I love this mod, but I love my wife a million times more for putting up with all the crap I dish out

They "misdirected" my juice 60 miles away today. Last night it was sitting in sorting at my local PO!?!

I likey Very fast to get up and running, used my inline meter to set it at 4.5v, my normal setting at 2.5 ohms.

Question - on refilling, is it better to just unscrew the main bottle and remove that, or does the feed tube pop off easily, so you remove the whole thing. I unscrewed the bottle, left the rest of the assembly in the unit, for initial fill.

Gotta add a paint marking at 4.5v.

Metallic silver sharpie. 1 hash mark at 3.3Ω, 2 at 4.2Ω, 3 at 5.5Ω. Fine tip and dries instantly, plus it shows up nicely on the black plastic.

I was feeling sorry for you until the last line. Having a VV Woodvil stifled my sympathy. I do hope you get it all tomorrow though.

Will prolly pick up some Kanthal eventually to compare. I ordered up my ni chrome the beginning of last month during the 'great kanthal shortage' of 2012.

Nice having so many folks on here who share their experiences with different materials.
