I still have my VV Grand and VV Woodvil with original buttons. The only thing that concerns me is the fact that if the button issue causes a problem with the electronics then I will have to pay to have it fixed. Maybe not for the button, but the circuit board stuff. I also don't know how long the "free" replacement of the buttons will be offered. If I wait too long it might cost to.
I wont ever charge someone for the button replacement there all on me . The electronics meaning the vv chip has a 3 month warranty after that I will have to charge people for a replacement

Thank you Robert! That makes me feel much better! I plan on keeping mine "original" as long as they are functioning as they are now!!

I will gladly pay for the vv chip replacement if that need arises!

I wouldn't worry about the chip for the most part these chips seem to hold up well . I have some heavy millage on mine and there still going strong

three vv grands...I can't believe it, lol. and one gorgeous ebony/curly maple woodville. The only other mod I NEED now is a blue or purple stabilized burl wood:laugh:

You might send Rob (Redeyedancer) a PM here on ECF. Sometimes he has stock that is ready but not listed, or he may be able to build you one in the colors you want. He is sneaky like that.

I'm sad, I want another VV Grand in metallic blue or purple but they are never in stock when I can afford them.

Looks like the metallic colors are very popular.
I would be happy to paint one for you right after Christmas . Pm me you info if your interested

Know what you mean. I haven't used my VVWs since the VVGs came in but I think, but not sure, one started a switch problem. It's fuzzy now and it may have been when some of my sets of batteries may have been wonky. This past year is a blur!!!! I did just get in a re-homed VVW, that seller said original switch was acting up but I haven't taken time to even try to fire it. I'm still hoping.....

I was thinking the other day. I wonder what if finger or thumb are used for firing on the VVG buttons that have gone out. Just wondering if that makes a difference. Karen, Pietro, Scott and everyone else with functioning original buttons?

I rarely use any finger but index to fire any REO.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Thats awesome I've been trying to get ahold of her to see if she got it but no answer:glare:and she only calls me if my child support is late for some reason:glare:

Just stopping in to say thank you to Rob for the incredibly fast turn around time on getting the switch changed on my VG to the new style button switch. I thought I preferred the original switch but the new one is much better. This may just be in my mind but I swear the VVG seems to hit harder with this button.

Your most welcome Pete . I noticed a vast improvement with the new button myself hands down the larger button is much better . I went a whole week trying to find the right coil for my new juice the whole time it was the small button causing problems it wasn't misfiring but I couldn't get the vapor I was getting on my vv woodvil . I switched it out and it has been vaping bliss ever since
