I still have my VV Grand and VV Woodvil with original buttons. The only thing that concerns me is the fact that if the button issue causes a problem with the electronics then I will have to pay to have it fixed. Maybe not for the button, but the circuit board stuff. I also don't know how long the "free" replacement of the buttons will be offered. If I wait too long it might cost to.
Know what you mean. I haven't used my VVWs since the VVGs came in but I think, but not sure, one started a switch problem. It's fuzzy now and it may have been when some of my sets of
batteries may have been wonky. This past year is a blur!!!! I did just get in a re-homed VVW, that seller said original switch was acting up but I haven't taken time to even try to fire it. I'm still hoping.....
I was thinking the other day. I wonder what if finger or thumb are used for firing on the VVG buttons that have gone out. Just wondering if that makes a difference. Karen, Pietro, Scott and everyone else with functioning original buttons?
I rarely use any finger but index to fire any REO.
Hugs, Feisty Alice
