Woo Woo!! Just received the shipping confirmation e-mail from Reos on my VV.

Going forth I won't compare a Reo's to a Rolls Royce...the delivery timeframe is significantly faster. :p

It will be there in about 4 days I think. Get those batteries charged and ready!

Hey all,,,,I'm having trouble with my vv grand. I was vaping away last night and suddenly it went dead. So first I fiddled a tiny bit with the coil on it and it fired a couple of times then quit. So I put in new wick, nothing, then I changed to another rba, still nothing. I metered the batts...3.3ish and 3.2ish, so I changed them to fully charged ones, still nothing

I gently pushed up on the tube, cleaned out the catch cup with ISO, nothing, I tried an attie to see if there was anything, nothing.

Any suggestions of what to try next?

Turn your voltage down and see if it fires. Your ohms may be too low for the voltage you're trying to vape at.

If you can't get it to work send it to Rob, he'll fix it for five-milliob dollars... plus shipping.

Jack

Tried that jack...didn't do the trick... but thanks! It's that damn shippin g that gets me:mad: :D

Make sure your switch is on. I know it probably is, but I panicked one time thinking mine was dead and just didn't have it turned on.

I just looked really good at the 510 screw(?) inside the catch cup area and it looks like the black gasket(?) underneath the 510 screw and showing around the edges sits a bit higher than on my other vv's.
I had pushed up gently on the tube to see if that was the problem. Maybe i pushed too hard?

Does it have the new button? Electronics in these VV REO's can go bad. You use different RBA's on them and you need to watch for putting them on too tight also. It sounds like a connection somewhere since it worked and then quit and then worked again. But with electronics there can also be other problems.
Wouldn't mess with it too much before it goes to Robert.

Hi Karen! Yes, it has a new button....:(I just got it back! I'm careful not to screw them down too tight, but, just in casw, I pushed gently on the tube...but now it looks like it's too far out from the base. I think I'll just sen it back to Rob again for a little TLC.

Cool looking VV Grand there!

Might want a extra tube, cap and bottle. You might never need them but they are good to have just in case.

Hey Rob, just curious as to why you didn't build the VVG with the little fin battery/bottle seperator like the Grand and Mini? My upper batt seems to shift off to the left toward the bottle, well, toward the bottle tube. Possible change on that in future VVG's?
I am assuming you got one of the earlier built mods . I dont see this being a problem with the newer units. Your more then welcome to send it to me I can make some adjustments on your mod that should take care of any issues your having . Back to the ? Why didn't I use the fin. The fin would have been right in the way when building these units and I didn't foresee it being a problem.

Oh, I didn't think of that Rob, with the electronics in the VVG's I bet the fin would be in the way. Mine is a first sale/run yes, has the original button too. Even thought the upper batt shifts to the left, it seems to still make contact with the upper terminal. I may send it back to you for button and to tune it for the batt shifting thing, thank you for the offer. But I'm thinking a round piece of cork or rubber with a hole in the middle of it for the filler tube to go though and is the same diameter of the 6 mil bottle will prevent the shifting of the batt and look like it belongs there.

I see you got my VVW and old style Woodvil in for repair? What did you think about the refinish job I did on the the old Oak Woodvil?

I just ordered a second VV Grand WooHoo actually grabbed a blemished one. Does this make me cheap or just frugal ? Ahh who cares it's still SEXAY :D
I say SMART especially since 99% of the time you can't even find Rob's so-called blemish:laugh: my polished VVG is a blemish 1 and had he never told me about it I would have never found it :D

are you having the button changed just because or is it acting up? Just asking because I simply LOVE my original recessed button:wub:
