Do you blind squonk? Just listen for the gurgle and stop? Blind squonking instead of feeding juice till you see it in the cup or well, usually gives the right amount of juice.

Check your bottle cap. It should not be too tight. I find if it is too tight my REO's might self-feed. You could try the reducer tube. Don't push it all the way up into the tube, you need some to grab if you want to remove it.

Temperature that is hot sometimes makes them self feed also. I notice that in hot climates or if I happen to leave a REO in the car on a hot day.
Yep I just blind squonk. A lot of the time I am actually in bed in the dark which is why at first I thought it was just me pushing too hard but I am noticing it's happening when I barely put any in the atty. I even purposely try to just do a little bit and it still overflows. So the reducer tube goes inside the actual tube. Does it go in the end closest to the bottle or closer to the 510- connection? That will stop self feeding? I also probably have the cap on the bottle pretty tight because I am always afraid they will leak. Especially in the VV Reos I am afraid it might mess up the electronics. How loose should it be?

I tighten then back it off a little.

It goes in the bottom of the tube where it goes in the bottle.

I never used the reducer tube back when I used to use a higher PG ratio I used to like the auto feeding feature

I use a higher PG juice too. maybe that is part of it. I will try the reducer tubes. i think I have some somewhere. I wouldn't mind the autofeed if it didn't spill all over everything. It would be a nice feature if it just autofed a small amount. It doesn't bother me enough to ever give up my Reos of course just was wondering if there was a fix is all. Still love my REOS!!

I'm not a Pink Girl but I sure love Purple. I've been collecting REOs since 2010.

Every one has a different method- I to use 100% VG...no reducer tube ever...never needed it.
I find that w/ the blind squonk, waiting for the gurggle is often to much...I just suck in and push the bottle until I feel a pressure difference...it's sort of like sucking up through a straw...try sucking with a straw out of water and then as you suck, put the end of the straw in the water- you can feel it when there's pressure now in the straw- it's like that...suck until you feel the tightening- not even a gurggle and stop. I hope this helps. Lately w/ my VVG, I've just been giving the bottle a good push with my thumb and hold the bottle in for a couple of seconds and I'm good to go....the VV just demands more juice especially if you're using a RBA.

I actually tighten the crap out of my bottles with no problems and in my VVW i have a piece of paper towel folded up nice and neat to catch any leakage. sounds to me like your over squonking but I only use high 100% VG and I too am a Blind Squonk Master
