I've just found these online and curious why they are so pricey. I'm new to vaping, and no way am I hating on these mods. These are nice looking and seem to be a great addition to my collection. Maybe somebody that knows more can help me justify buying one.

Let me give you an "I don't own one" perspective. Here is my progression in e-cigs:

808s
Kgos
vtube
mechanical telescope
provari
zmax
reos

If I only was left with the provari and reo...I'd have saved lots of money. Even with the extras...I'll come out ahead once shiny things stop catching my eye. The gate fee for the VV grand may seem high...but like the provari...quality and durability comes at a price that becomes well worth it in the long run.

I see you aren't verified...if you were, I would tell you to shop the classifieds. Quality made mods hold value if you decide they aren't for you. A $90 lavatube gets half price used. Same with a vmax. There is a worse return on many others. If I could start over I would save hundreds by starting out "expensive".

Look like air control.....maybe

This is a cool stainless steel Air Control Sistem (hence it's name ACS) with micrometric control (it has five holes you progressively close turning clockwise the top cap) specifically created for the Reo :)

First time post in reos mods long time lurker. I have to agree with Thingingaboutit's comment regarding quality and dirability is well worth the price. I started off buying all kinds of mods finally stopped with reos mods from mini-->grand-->vv grand (been using the vv grand exclusively) spent a good 2k+ already. Didn't want to buy the expensive mods at first so i settled for cheaper ones, however, constant switching to something else was inevitable due poor quality and durability. I too wished I went this route to begin with, would of saved me at least 50-60%. So don't be hesitant because of the price, you get what you pay for.

Oh yeah and a big thanks Rob. been off analogs ever since i first got my mini.

Congrats on quitting the sparks. A good mod certainly helps but you have to want to quit first as I am sure you no :)
