That's good to hear as that is about the amount I vape daily with boge lr cartos on standard grand. Are most vvgrand users satisfied with their battery life?

satisfied beyond belief with robs VVs both woodvil and grand!!!!!! Battery life is not an issue.

I can't imagine not having them. Or any of my REOs for that matter.

Hello everyone! I had an unfortunate mishap with my grand yesterday. A short caused by an A7 RBA. Really bummed me out as it was my first RBA and I was really excited for it. I did get some good advice and will be using a MM to check everything out before applying any voltage in the future, but for now my grand is on its way back to meet its maker :D . Complete overhaul with all new everything just about.

In the mean time I have been absolutely drooling over the VVG. It is basically my buzz pro put inside a grand, how could it ever get any better? Well, I broke the bank buying the A7 (and also sending my grand in) which just shows how tight funds are for me (will this recession ever end?). Any ideas for raising about $200? I have an extra kidney available for a great price  I'm gonna keep reading about how much you all enjoy your VVG while I try to find a scheme to get the cash.

It migh takes some time to save the money for the VVG JTman, but it's well worth it. I think it's even better this way, when you need to wait, save, and finally get what you've been waiting for. It makes these things even better ;)

Yeah I agree with you. Victory is certainly much sweeter when you have to work hard for it. Though I'm already planning on hocking a bunch of stuff off on Ebay tonight. Hopefully there are some people out there who want to buy my junk! I think I'll also sell my buzz pro, that should get me almost halfway there!

I don't know much about grands, but doesn't a short just cause hot spring collapse? did it do more damage?

Re: A7 and shorts I have had a few times where the VVG wisely refused to fire because the A7 was screwed down too far or the center pin (it "adjusts" with turning) was too far out

I am certainly no expert, but I think I may have screwed it down too far. My grand was bought 2nd hand and it was used pretty hard before I even got it. I also put it though the paces and after it all happened I was looking more closely at the atty connector and it looked pretty wonky. Kind of off kilter and definately discolored. My spring did collapse, but I was a bone-head and bent the spring back up so I could try messing with it some more. 2nd try I saw sparks at the firing pin and the button looked a bit melty. I put it down after that happened.

I was contemplating getting the firing pin and feed tubes replaced anyway (Its a first run grand). I'll be excited to get it back, I know Rob will send her back to me in probably better condition than it was when I got it.

I'm looking at the blemished black/orange VV Grand on the site. Does anyone know if it has the new button?

He states the pic is not the one you will get. From looking at all the VV Grands on site I don't think he is selling any with the recessed button. All listed have the large button. PM him and make sure though!
