VV REOS Part II

I've some-what scrolled through this long thread, but I'm taking it, it's going to be hard to get the VV Reo Grand when it comes out I take it? - I finally decided to try a bottom feeder, but it seems it's even tough to get just the regular Reo Grand (out of stock).

The reason for that is the demand for these high quality mods is greater than our Modfather can supply but with a little patients you'll get one soon

I don't even remember if he mentioned what ohm atty he was using. Would that account for some difference? Also wouldn't age of atty make for a small difference? I watched video and posted in wee hours so didn't pay close attention. I posted just so people could get a visual idea. I only looked at one video. Also, it is inherent in small, inexpensive devices, that there are slight variances. We, typically, aren't using the same quality testing devices that one would find in a physics lab, for instance, so I would expect slight variances with the devices we typically have for home/hobby use. If we wanted the most accurate results we would be spending hundreds of dollars for our measuring devices. An 0.1 volt variance is okay with me.

Yes Alice I agree for the most part with most home devices, age of Atty ? no, ohm of Atty yes, but with this chip that Buzz/Rob are using it has very little loss while under load, the chip is specifically designed to hit 5.6V I believe and has a drop off of somewhere between .1-.2 or so I believe. Phil was using a Carto in a tank and probably his usual Boge 2ohm therefore probably why it dropped that .1 more. I was only trying to clarify that there wasnt that much Drop off and the chip is very efficient and letting all know that they can get a true 5..5v while running the higher ohm Atty

WOW! The routing/sanding work is......just wow! Each wood reacts differently when worked with power tools. Some like it slower, some like it faster. With all the variation between species, and then variation between each individual block, no wonder some of them don't make it! Lemme mound up some respect so I can send it your way...... inCREDible!

The variation of the special wood I ordered and sent was doubled dyed red which cost extra and like I said in the other thread he will hear about it if its not. I wanted red because I had seen only a few stabilized red and they were not bright imo. Im lucky Rob is shucking, sanding and applying the finish because he will make it all it can be as he always does.

Of course you'd expect a ton of interest about the REO VV in our forum but the buzz is everywhere around the ECF. I predict sale night will be the wild & craziest in REO history. I hope you all get the one you each want. I know this guy will
