Have any of the beta testers weighed a full VV Woodvil? I'm keen to compare it to the weight of a full Grand (realizing, of course, that different woods have different weights), because that will be the ultimate determination of whether or not my VVW is my goin' out mod or my stayin' in mod. I carry my Grand in my front t-shirt pocket (and have since stopped wearing non-pocketed t's), and if the Woodvil won't sag my shirt as much, it's the one that goes out into the world every day.

It stays home most of the time, but I have taken it out of the house a few times. When doing so, I'm extremely careful with it. It's survived a few drops on the carpet and a hundred topples on my desk.

:)
As glossy as it is I assumed you pampered it.

Ebony and cocobolo are the heftiest that I've felt. Walnut is pretty light, but still feels sturdy. I have a feeling I am going to carry mine everywhere I go so I don't want one I'm afraid to get a scuff on.

I'm also curious about this. I don't mind having a holster made for a heavy PV (there's a leather place that mostly caters to bikers just a couple of miles from me that will make anything I want), but I'm a shirt pocket sort of fellow too.

so I just tried to charge my 18350s in my Ultrafire WF 139, and umm they dont fit... like not even close . but luckily I have a few D battery springs, put one on each negative post and got up and running. Eventually I will mod them to not move around during use, probably this weekend. I definitely dont want them moving around during charging.

Sammy, you should have a conversation with Martin White. Here is his sells thread on CPF. He makes, or can make adapters for just about ANY charger/battery set-up you could ever need! Roger (I think, was who turned me on to his sells thread over a year ago). I have several adapters he has made for charging in my Pila's. Latest ones are 18350 to 18650 adapters.
charging adapters to fit ANY SIZE li-ion into an 18650 charger (Pila IBC or other)

Not a bit worried Mike! Never thought I would hit 40. A VV Woodvil will be #42. I feel comfortable with that amount though!:vapor:
40 Karen? it seems just a couple of weeks ago you only had 36 did you go on a Reo rescue mission again?

On its way to Rob for a tuneup then to its new owner. I'll have a REO soon enough. :)
I thought it just came back from a tune up and thought you were never selling Neb:(

Well I did say that but things change and I was able to help someone who wasn't in a position (I've been there) get a REO Woodvil and for about half price of a new one. I'll miss it but I feel good about it. :)

Pietro, I did have 36 in February. Then I got one for my vapanniversary, and one for becoming a ECF Vet. Then just last week these three REO's needed a good home. So 41 right now. What can I say. There is just no hiding the fact that I am a REOholic. I love my REO's!

WOW!!! 41!!! I love my REO too but just wondering, what do you do with all of them? Is it a collection sort of thing? Haha I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with 41 REOs all at once.

If you ever want to sell one of them or make a deal, I wouldn't say no

Oh...don't feel alone. I won't be getting one either.

We can stick together and make it through this!

Yes, I will admit to my REO purchases being a collection sort of thing! I kept my eyes open and watched the classy's for REO's that were no longer made. I watched for those that were special because of how they were made. My focus went to the wood REO's. I picked up lots of different woods. New versions came out and I went for those to get a "first run". I wanted one from the different runs of the Original Wood and Woodvil's. With my Mini's I wanted Polished, Tumbled, Nickle, and Silver, I got the same type Grands except for the Nickle which was never done. I have the second stabilized Woodvil ever made, and the second original style Mini ever made. I have one of the first two Lacewood Woodvil's. And the list continues!

Robert has come so far with designing and building REO's since starting around April of 2010. I think it remarkable and I am blown away by the quality and preformance. It has been a journey to build my collection, but very rewarding to be able to daily experience the REO's progress from start to the present.

Glad to see I'm not the only one struggling with decision making.
One VV and one Woodvil-my first brand new Woodvil.
Two VV's and make my collection in pairs. (2 VV's, 2 Woodvils, 2 18490, 2 minis, 2 Woods)
Two VV's and beg Rob to save me a Woodvil for a few weeks
One VV and spend money responsibly
