These are measurments for the Woodvil. As stated the VV Woodvil will be slightly taller.

Woodvil 18650:

Width: 2 1/16" not including button
Depth: 1 1/16"

Just remeasured my Nebula and they don't match those numbers...odd. Nevertheless close enough you give you and idea.

EDIT; Raw stabilized Woodvil block needs to be 2-3/8 wide by 4-1/4 long by 1-5/8 thick minimum

They all vary slightly. I know, with all of mine no two are the same. I now have 10 Woodvils to compare, of course there are two different styles, three are alot more rounded. With handcrafting it is to be expected!

My only mod is my red Grand anymore and I am very content with it. A beautiful new VV Woodvil may ruin me for other mods.

I'll feel like I'm cheatin on Ruby.

I was going to wait for the VV Grand, but I can't. I was actually going to wait for the second round of VV Grands, but i can't. The VV Woodvils craftsmanship just looks too nice, especially with the durability of a polyurethane finish. I think I'm really hooked, because now I have to buy both, the Woodvil for home and the Grand at work and going out. I'm going to have to ask the wife for an allowance increase.

I know its just a teeny weeny bit bigger in length than the regular Reo woodvil , please don't bother too much looking for the size of the vv , if you have the size of the regular woodvil that too would help as i would get a rough idea as to how big it is .
I am currently using the Reo grand .

I would guess black palm or wenge. I got to see both woods at a meet up recently and was blown away. I must say wenge has not been my favorite from pictures, but jumped way up on the list after seeing it in person.

I, too was of the mind to wait for the VV Grands, but these woods are just spectacular. I don't know if I'll be able to pass these up. Guess I may just have to get one of each.

In January I asked Rob if he had any Black Palm and he told me he didn't have any because it was pricey and hard to work with.
