Tripp, Jen, and all you other E Texas County Bumpkins... we have some nasty weather right on top of us. Lots of rumbling. Just wanted to warn you.
BTW... I have whole house surge protection, a new one, as old one died. Found that out when a storm took our our water heater, and burned the lines from main box all the way to water heater. What saved us was the lines were running through solid metal conduit. Also took out the control board on Spa. The old one didn't have a condition indicator light; the new one does. (I still have individual surge protectors and USPs for many things. That's probably what saved the electronics when my house took the lightening hit.)
