Alice has had great success in defeating this by putting the mod in some unused coffee grounds for a day or two.

I'm wondering if that's a good idea to do with that VV chip in it though? Might get a little coffee dust in the chip.8-o
I like the idea of it though cause I'm pretty sensitive to the smell of chemicals.

Doesn't the coffee grounds get everywhere in the mod, like the electronics and stuff? Since it's wood you can't even wash it. Does the coffee odor stick?

Just have to say these VV Woodvils are so much more beautiful than a picture can capture. I didn't get my first or second choice and thought I may now love the ones I got but all I can say is WOW!! They are just absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy with my picks. I'm actually glad I didn't get the first one we picked which was the stabilized 12. I don't think it could top these. Truly stunning. Here they are. although like I said the photos just don't do them justice.

Also the way the light reflects in the wood is just beautiful too. It looks like shadows in the pic of the one on the bottom left pic but that is actually the wood. Really hard to capture the beauty with my cheap camera. I love them. I could not have asked for a more beautiful mod.

Also I have to say what happened to make the mod not work, is the green wire was not soldered on so it slipped out. So I talked to Rob or Robert (not sure which he goes by) and all it needs is to be put back in place and soldered on. So I will go by Walmart and borrow one to try to fix it myself. Just something very minor. He responded very fast to my PM and even offered to fix it and overnight it back to me if I am not able to fix it. So great service and I can not say enough about how stunningly beautiful they are and how happy I am with them. I can not stop looking at it. LOL Thanks ROB. :)

hey guys, just got my reo VV in today, so gotta couple questions cuz the only other reo i had was a mini almost a year ago.

what kinda batteries does this sucker take, and what are the switch positions? im guessing the wheel is to change the voltage and i have a meter to check it.
thanks in advance guys!

Karla those mods are gorgeous!!

Thank you. I really love them too. I have a journeyman and when placed next to the Reo there is just NO comparison. I think if there is a difference between the mods I got and the pic on the site when I chose them, the difference is that they are so much more beautiful in person. I don't think I will ever want another kind of mod again....Well maybe a VV Grand. But I have a Reo Grand and now a VV Woodvil and I really prefer the wood. Also just got my trippy tip donut in today. Great timing for the impromptu photo shoot. ;)

the curly oak in mine seemed lighter in the online photo, but its prolly due to the flash, its beautiful either wayi cant wait to fill it up with juice and vape it!

Yes I got a curly oak too and it did appear lighter in the photo on the site. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was actually a bit darker in person. I think it's a really cool looking wood. Guess there are now at least 2 curly oaks in MD. LOL

Really...they are all gorgeous. You can take 4 different pics of the same REO and it would look like 4 different REOs.

I got a curly oak with a zebra door and mine is a bit darker than the pic but that's fine, it's beautiful either way! This thing does have a distinct odor and I am tasting it in my juice. To those of you who own the woodvils already.. this does go away doesn't it? I saw a post about putting it in coffee but until someone can tell me for sure that this works and will not harm the device in any way, I'm not going to consider it. maybe leaving the door off when not in use could help air it out.
