gosh those vv's are stunning, each and every one of them, congrats to you all

USPS didn't update today for me, wish they did that every hour
got the batteries today and the last set is charging
ooh and the wax is tracking and well on it's way

For those of you who want to pack your Reos in coffee grounds to remove any wood finish odors, consider taking a bag of instant rice and cut the top off with some scissors. Dump the rice and put your Woodvil inside the mesh bag. Fold the top over a couple of times and use a couple of clothes pins, paper clips, bulldog clips, etc., to keep it closed. Then you can put it in a container with some dry coffee grounds and not worry about the grounds getting in the little nooks and crannies.

I use photobucket just copy the image file from there and paste in the message box here that's it

O.K. I figured it out. A three second draw on the VV is like a 10 sec draw on my Woodvil!

This is exactly why the hh.357 works so well on vv mods. It requires short, hard drags to work as intended - and a mod like this is well suited to the purpose.

Funny how different woods/mods show up lighter or darker in different photos. "Most" of the pictures Rob had posted look like they were "lighter" than the ones the owners are posting. Mine is just the opposite...

What kind of wax do you plan to use. I heard someone say use wax and some else say no to so now I'm confused. I was going to get some wax too.

That was no flash, but under the dinning room lights (5 of them). In a lower light setting it does appear a completely different color. Kinda like my birthstone Alexandrite. I still am amazed at the holograhic/iridescence of the koa when you move it slightly. Almost like a high dollar "mother-of-pearl" paint job...
