if you have a meter test your atty if not try the atty from your hubbys reo, you know that 1 works

Did you try a different atomizer/cartomizer? I've got 2 grands and sometimes a cart won't fire on one of them but will work fine on the other. Just a thought

Do these have the two LED, red and blue, like used in the notcigs Pro series? If they do someone will want to build the cheat sheet (unless it's already in the instructions), what the different color combinations/actions mean.

Red = power supplied.
With no carto atty connected, press the fire button. Blue = happy regulator, trying to output power.
Attach carto or atty, Red should stay lit. Press the button, Red goed off, Blue on, should be getting vapor; if no vapor, you might have a center contact issue. If when you press the fire button it stays Red = likely short (in the carto or atty, maybe screwed down to tight).
Carto or atty attached, both LED lit when you fire it = low battery voltage, time to change them. It's really obvious with this VV anyhow, the output drops voltage is maintained really well then drops off immensely when the batteries can no longer supply enough power.

So far, the only times I've heard of one not working out of the box was either the master power switch wasn't turned on, or the center pin inside the REO connection was pushed too far down - hit up Rhapsodies Fire, she can tell you how to push it back into place.
I just sent Redeyedancer a PM. I'm not very technical as I was telling you earlier about making a case for the VV Woodvil and i was kind of hoping when i paid over $200 bucks for something it would come to me already working but I will try her too. I don't even see a pin. Just very disappointed after waiting so long for sale night, going through the anxiety of sale night, waiting for it to be shipped and stalking the mailman and to get it and it's broken. :(Thanks. I'll try her noe while waiting for him to reply. Would I be better off emailing his site?

Happy to report both are here and working perfectly! I got brave and tested my in-line meter on another Reo Grand and it all checked out fine.

So here'e how I have my two setup.

1. Vaping Raf-a-licious on a 2.5 ohm IKV 510 Canon at about 4.6 volts. Superb flavor and massive vapor clouds! This is a perfect set up for me. The Raf has a subtle raspberry undertone that really shines with this atty. My last remaining 100ml of Raf will be spent this way. Been hoarding it for the right time, and that time is right now.

2. Vaping KBV Mint Truffle Shuffle on a 3.0 ohm 510 long barrel HH357 at about 5.2 volts. I never had much luck with the long barrels, and have had this one sitting for almost three months. Well, she's not even broken in and is already making huge clouds, and the flavor is outstanding. I usually can't get enough mint, but in this set up its almost too much! Just about blew my head off. Still have to fiddle with the voltage on this one but WOW!

Oh, these are my first woodys and I keep reaching for the top of the mod to fire it. Not quite used to the side button, but it does have a very pleasing feel and super easy firing action. I used to tend to mash the button on my Grands, but I'm quickly realizing thats not needing on these.

Lastly, the smell of the finish on these is quite powerful. I'm sure it will dissipate soon, but right now its almost like I'm adding some varnish to my juice.

Well i discovered what the problem is. The green wire inside that leads to the fire button is not even connected. I really can't believe they were not at least visually inspected let alone tested before being shipped. It is visibly unnattached. UUUGGHH! now i'm going to have to ship it back, Wait for him to fix it, and wait again for him to ship it back to me. I'm sorry to rant. I am just highly upset. Hope I hear back soon. :(

To say that's unfortunate is an understatement, but I am sure Rob will take good care of you. He's been nothing short of fantastic when I've had to get stuff repaired. It truly sucks that you'll have to wait to use your new toy, but trust me, it will be worth the trouble.

AACK! I'm sorry. :( Rob will fix it up for you though. In the mean time take your hubbys away from him. ;)

Pfffttt. No soup for me. Truck won't get there until later this evening. My son said he might be here tomorrow to sign for it, otherwise I'll get it Monday.

I did get grocery shopping out of the way but OMG WHAT was I thinking? This is government check day so the grocery stores are packed. YIKES!!! I'm staying in the rest of the day.

Sending USPS mojo your way!!!!!!!!!!

Even if you choose not to use the wax on the poly coat you can use it on the inside exposed wood surface. It soaks in and provides protection against spills.

This sounds like a good idea. I have a place or two on the inside of mine where a little juice soaked into the wood. I don't want any more doing that.

Alice has had great success in defeating this by putting the mod in some unused coffee grounds for a day or two.
