Helo USA just to say i'm very, very, very happy with this vv after a wv18490 got a few months ago.
Ordered a saturday night and received this friday morning !!!
Just a fantastic feeling with it, very light, big power, maybe i need to get glasses regarding colors, but not important for me, better to use than to look

Different lighting will make the color appear lighter or darker. If you look at the patterns they match! It is the same pictured on reosmods.

So, once again the old adage that hard work pays off in the long run, but laziness pays off right now has been proven true. In a gambit to avoid a trip out to Home Depot over the weekend to pick up some Howard Feed N Wax, I stopped by our neighborhood Ace Hardware on the way home, and they had it on the shelf, just waiting for me.

One less trip out this weekend, and one day closer to vaping my Turley!

Do you have to wax it before you use it? i ordered some feed n wax but I'm already using it. Can i still wax it? I thought it was like Pledge. You know, Wipe on, wipe off.

The Howards wax is a gel like consistency. You put it on and leave it for about 30 minutes or longer if you want to do it overnight. Then just wipe and shine.

On the inside I just let it sit overnight and then wipe off any excess.

You can wax them anytime! Used ones I buy get waxed. I try to do the new ones before using but sometimes I can't wait!

in a way im finding it hard to use it looks so great. i catch myself using the lacewood 18490 and just looking deeply at the vv in front of me. its a work of art.

Yes, I have 2 of the 3 of them. Both vv's made it, but the curly oak woodville went to a post office in another town.
So hopefully I'll have it by Monday. The bloodwood/wenge is amazing. Beautiful, deep brownish/red wood with a gorgeous dark brown, glossy wenge face. The purpleheart is stunning also. I've got them airing out right now and need to put a coat of wax on the innards before I use them. That ain't happening tonight.(Or probably not even this weekend) Left for work at 6AM and just got home. And I've got 2 more days of that before I'm off. But I'm perfectly content staring at them with bleary eyes right now. Pictures next week when i recoup from the job. I don't think I could even find the on button on the camera right now anyway.

Sounds like its an issue for a tiny few VVs and not with the Woodvils. Not that it would have mattered. My new REO Woodvil lasted 24 hours. While in the waiting room during my wife's dialysis I left to use the restroom and when I got back my new Woodvil was gone. I was the only one there and gone for just a couple of minutes. I asked around the people who work there and none of them seen anything or it. My wife was the only one having treatment when it disappeared so some there had to have taken it. They are lucky I didn't have my Python with me.....people are *ucked!!!!!

OMG NOOOO! I am so sorry and I feel so bad for you. I hate a thief worse than just about anything else on this planet.

EDIT: Caught up now and so glad you got it back, but I'm still sorry you had to go through that because of a scumbag.

Alright, I did the wax job, let it sit for about 20 mins then wiped it all out, let it sit for another spell, then loaded up a bottle of my unflavored base, packed in the batteries, and tossed a new 3.0v atty (I bought a 10-pack, they were on sale). Squonk squonk, let it sit a sec and fired it up.

Nice, but could use some more oomph. I dialed it up a bit and took another hit.

Better, but not quite there. Cranked the wheel all the way up and took another hit.

POW. Huge hit, two exhales to clear the vapor in front of me. I actually coughed a little.

MORE OF THAT, says I, and I take another hit.

Nothing.

Squonked again to make sure I didn't dry out the atty, and tried another hit. Nothing.

Pulled the atty and metered it, nothing. Bupkis. Dead atty.

So, I pitched it and unwrapped another. Repeated the squonk and sit, then took a hit. Got about halfway through it and felt the all-to-familiar POCK with a little push of air. Pulled the atty and metered it, dead. Turley just killed two brand new 3.0 attys.

I went to my to-be-cleaned cup and pulled a 2.5 and put it on. Squonked it up, and after a dozen hits with a couple of squonks in the middle, am now in nicobliss.

This is one hell of a mod. Rob, you're brilliant. Thanks again!

I don't think these high-resistance atty's are fit to stand in its shadow, they're obviously junk. I'm goin' shopping - what's everyone's recommended 510 atty for these?

Dave IMO anything in the 2.5ohm range. Cisco,joye,hh-357,ECT... Right now I'm using some Joye,s metered out at around 2.4ohm, cause I'm cheap and have a bunch. But it's vapeing nirvana right now for me.

Hey Dave, the atty's I had pretty much given up on were the joye in l.r. and s.r.- firefly l.r.- I.V. cannon and E.M. l.r.

I'm doing 306 1.5 at the moment from V.K. for the bulk pricing and it is doing nicely. The io6 is the best feel I've had so far but I only have 1 left so it's in the closet.

I'm not sure what it is about bottom feeding and atty's but my firefly is now worth the money I spent. All my atty's just feel better on this Reo. I think I will check out the 2.0 to 2.5 range with my next purchase....these 1.5's pop so easily on a V.V. If I had to choose just one it would lean heavily towards the io6.....If I had an inclination to spend 22 bucks on one then who knows?
Even the I.V. cannon hit better on the Reo but it still fills up the catch cup

Using a i06 on mine and seems to work out quite well so far. 3.5 ohms at max v

Crap ...mine just starting firing on it's own. It's sitting on the table beside me firing on and off. I just turned the switch off.

What is the Protocol for this again? I know that there are several of us with this issue and I don't want to try to fix it myself. I also know that Rob is working on one. Do I just pack it up and send it back? Bummer ..my first Reo..

Also..I am leaving the door off in an attempt to air the smell out..can I just send the body and keep the door?
