The IC or control PCB will deliver up to 15 watts MAX , some may go slightly higher some may be slightly lower ( standard variations ) we SPEC it at 15 watts FYI .

as far as popping goes ?? atty or carto most likely , this is a new one to me,.

I'm thinking the "popping" is like a sonic boom in your mouth- I've had that on my Grand a few times...seems to be when the liquid is air locked or something. Unscrew the bottle and blow through the feeder tube and start over with squonking and see if that helps.

I only turn mine off at night and when I leave the house and just because I can no problems here!

Gil its up to you I sent the notice out because I ran into some switch issues . It has nothing to do with draining the batteries its was purely a safety concern . I don't turn mine off but my switch has never acted up and I don't use a purse
