Whoa...hold on, did you say the parts were already in the production phase? As in production production, not beta production? If so.....totally awesome, if not, beta production is defiantly livable. The wood mods are cool and all, but I'm waiting on the metal, baby. After all, heavy metal will never die! Black/black grand will be my next mod purchase redeyedancer! Your money is waiting. I'm standing BUY.

Reos are the Zippo lighters of vaping. Indestructible and so functional that every GI, boy scout, girl scout, and responsible vapist ought to have one on hand.

Amen to that! Count on me for a Black/Silver VV Grand. I really didn't want to buy anOTHER REO, but I guess I don't really need this, with one of these attached...for a while anyway ;)

Cool story bro.....

What I want is a volt indicator that's installed into the mod which would make it easier than screwing something on and off all the time. The way I killed two atty's was that I thought I was vaping 5V with a 2.5 ohm atty. In reality, I was at 6.5V under load.

I may not have had all the mods in the world or tried every carto/atty out there. But, I do know what I want from a mod. The Grand can already go from 3.7-6V and I'm very happy with that. Overall, I appreciate how the technology has grown in the e-cig industry.

When I started vaping in 2008. There were only carts and e-cig sized batts which caused me to go back to smoking cigs for a few years. All in all, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Ya, but not really. Only certain increments in between.

Its like having a car with no accelerator ..... Just a switch with three settings slow, fast, little bit faster :)

I'm a true driver, I want an accelerator on my mod :)

Actually the way it will hold the voltage its more like a governor on a farm tractor :)

I love taking a 1.5 Cisco right to the edge LOL. I can get the up to about 4.3-4.4 and it Rocks LOL :)

I can do this on my Buzz but not on my ProVari.

I was wondering if the VV Grand's circuitry, including the on/off switch, will be sealed so the unit can be washed with soap and water. Does anyone know?

Yeah, can't imagine. The Grand is currently all mechanical - no wires or circuitry. The VV won't be, and water is the enemy of wires and circuitry.

I will seal the electronics the best I can but you wont be able to run the mods under the faucet like you can with the grands and mini mods .

From what I understand it will be larger......but minimally so. I believe I read that it will not be thicker or wider, only a small amount taller, which honestly, I can live with. The way I hold the grand, my pinky is cupped around the bottom and I've got room in my hand for a taller mod. But hey, if the VV grand and woodvil is gonna be too tall for you hand, you could always step down to the mini. I don't think he's officially announced plans for a mini, but I can't imagine he won't make one. Too much of a demand. It would be every bit as functional. J/S

There we go....found it. He said earlier in the thread that he will eventually make a 3ml bottom fed VV mod. So there you go :). Also, he hasn't said anything about the modified size of the grand.....I guess I dreamed reading that. Sorry bout that. Not trying to put words in anyone's mouth here. Man, it's been a while since I was excited about a mod!
