Hmmm......a volt indicator would make things a whole lot easier......

Can I have one too!?!
Don't need no damn volt indicator. Spin the wheel to taste. Every atty, carto, juice is gonna taste different until ya spin the the wheel to YOUR sweetspot. The Kiss method works. It really does. :)

Yep, keep it simple just like a REO should be. JMO :)

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just don't see the allure of guessing what voltage I'm at. Already had that experience with my other VV and finally had to get a separate volt indicator. Killed two cartos in the process. Personally, I would like a volt indicator in my VV mod.

Unsure, if you can handle the Tesla then you may just have to change your name to CompletelyCertain, or Sure for short.

Which reminds me... Last week on way to airport we saw a Tesla Roadster. First one I've ever seen. It was very cool looking but for sure a two seater.

Sure everyone is entitled to their opinion. I stated mine as did you.
I can state this as fact though. 14+ months of vaping without an analog after a 40 year POD habit of analogs and during those months have gone through way to many mods to count, much less the hundreds +++ of cartos and Attys bought for the family we have killed way more than two cartos over this period. I can promise it wasn't due to us not knowing the unloaded voltage. Quite a few were instant blow outs or just duds and were on 3.7 devices. And just saying, we now have several + + of VV with and without led voltage readouts. From past experience, we personally prefer the KISS method if for nothing else but one less component to fail. IMO. :).
Oh, and if you need a benchmark voltage. Get a 3 dollar MM from Harbor Freight. Works for us for voltage, carto and atty ohms, battery discharge, charge etc, using ohms law, you know how many watts your throwing at an atty or carto. A suggestion, not opinion.;) We are at a point where we kind of know where we need to be with our daily juices, DC 2 ohm, BOGE 2 and 3 ohm cartos, and we have our favorite 3 ohm Attys for VV, and 1.5's for 3.7.

Oh I am seeing an upgrade in my future. I was one of those "VV" voices back in the day and now it's a reality. PM incoming!

Note: On to another REO story. I've said these guys were beasts but I had no idea how beastly.

A few days ago... I must admit with no pride... I flipped my lid, blew a gasket, went looney, etc. etc. you get the idea. The end result was a REO at high speed into a driveway (yes, the neighbors dog crapped on the lawn again. JK) at any rate, after a new drip tip and atomizer (because they just disintegrated) it was working like a charm. If anything it changed the shape of my driveway.

If the vv Reo works like the Buzz Pro then the cool end is about 3.8, the middle is about 4.5, and the hot end is around 5.5.

Cool story bro.....

What I want is a volt indicator that's installed into the mod which would make it easier than screwing something on and off all the time. The way I killed two atty's was that I thought I was vaping 5V with a 2.5 ohm atty. In reality, I was at 6.5V under load.

I may not have had all the mods in the world or tried every carto/atty out there. But, I do know what I want from a mod. The Grand can already go from 3.7-6V and I'm very happy with that. Overall, I appreciate how the technology has grown in the e-cig industry.

When I started vaping in 2008. There were only carts and e-cig sized batts which caused me to go back to smoking cigs for a few years. All in all, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

You can just buy one and the wiring isn't that hard. Don't know if there will be room in the mod tho.
