Attempt # 2 great if you only use your right hand to hold the mod .The button doesn't have enough surface area its fine if you use the fleshy part of your finger.I can see people being unhappy with this so I have to find another button.Did I mention how I hate finding buttons for mods

Wow you sure have a lot of tough planning when you do your metal mods. Im sure everyone appreciates what you go through. I know Im not alone when I say I can't wait to see what the final product looks like and will be eventually getting one. That said Im still happy to get my Wood VV first.

I personally liked the first one better if the button was just a lil fatter like the one on my mini now

no but my money can certainly be in route whenever you say to send it (to reserve my spot on the first run of the VV Grandes)

PS unless theres some new alloys available I think I'd like a Silver/Silver or a Tumbled Raw maybe Just saying

I don't think a mechanical switch is possible with the VV due to the electronics situation

That's a real shame. I have never had a mod that lasted more then a few weeks with an electronic switch. The mechanical one on the mini and grand was a VERY strong point.

I don't think Rob would sell a mod with a switch that only lasted a few weeks. That would cause him more grief than it would be worth to offer VV Reos.

Well, if my opinion were asked (I know it wasn't), I would have to say that I am not a fan of the little bitty button. It reminds me of the infinity button, and me and that mod never got along. I know it doesn't look possible, but it sure would be great to have an on/off switch so we wouldn't have to worry about it going off accidently and you didn't have to worry about trying to make a recessed button design. I will say that I do like the new button location though. Well......I know my advice wasn't asked for and I'm not really expecting to be listened to, but that's my feelings on the matter.

I think i read somewhere that he's still looking at trying to find a way to fit an on/off switch in there because his mods have always had them, and he doesn't feel right about putting it out without one. but I might've misread that.

I can assure you what ever button I decide on it will last .A mechanical switch will require maintenance cleaning noalox .There will be no access point to have such a switch with this setup
