Attempt # 2 great if you only use your right hand to hold the mod .The button doesn't have enough surface area its fine if you use the fleshy part of your finger.I can see people being unhappy with this so I have to find another button.Did I mention how I hate finding buttons for mods
Rob have you though about putting the button slot clear across instead of to one side? I have a wood mod with a slot in the same place and it is a comfortable fit.

I can post a pic if you want or PM it to you.

Yes I did the reason I didn't do so is it would be to thin near the door track .I realize I could use a longer button .Nothing is set in stone keep your ideas cumming

I liked the bowl-shaped recess you had originally, can you put a bigger button inside that? It looked sharp and functional at the same time. With the button protruding out like the black one above, it just looks functional.

Of course, I aim to be vaping VV in wood, so my opinion probably isn't the best to run with.

There going to be close Gil as soon as I decide on the button this is going out to be printed and then off to the machine shop.Like I said getting a vv grand will be much easier to get your hands on compared to a woodvil .I no many people think they wont have a chance but I can produce more mods at this stage of the game then I could when I first started building metal mods

Evening Rob. My :2c: is the button you used on the midvill looks great on it. I personally, have never intentionally turned any of my mods "off"... I KNOW, and "on-off" switch is a must for quite a few folks though. I don't know how feasable it would be to try a tiny version of the switch you use in the reo woodvils? I assume the inside is very crowded with the electronic guts, batts, spring and bottle...

I haven't ruled that option out . It has to be easy on the fingers and look decent

I like the button featured on the black Grand more so than the recessed nubby button, but recessed would be cool if it were a tad bigger, soft, rounded, and clicky. I think I'd need clicky if it were recessed.

Either way, I'm in for one VV Woodvil and one VV Grand.
I was waiting for you to chime in . The button on the black grand would have to be like it is surface mounted its pushing it as it is there isn't much real estate under the insert

Rob, did you see my question on where a on-off switch might be located?

Oh ok so grands are first. My bad...I thought it was the other way around. Well since I got some money invested I'll have to wait for for the woodvile then catch the grands in round 2. :)

Hello Mike I have given it some thought .I would have to isolate the spring from the body .I have been trying to rap my head around this for days to be honest . I will figure something out I always do . I want more feedback before I do anything This is for you guys after all .I can build my own vv mod they way I want it :) I never use on off switches myself I wear lose clothing and I usually have a shirt with a pocket in it

Me too, or a open top cell phone holster that the grand slides in and out of fairly easy. (never had one accidentally fire in it.)

My only concern is traveling in pocket with this button. I love my woods, but have come to really appreciate my reos for work and carrying while the woods stay home. My only concern with the button is that is will be easy to fire while carrying.

Just my2 cents.

I am buying the woods and metals regardless, and my only concern is misfiring.

I trust you'll figure something out rob.
