That is some fascinating information to explore.

Ok, I ordered Friday, got a charge on my credit card monday, and got an email from the PO that it is out and on it's way. I was hoping to have it by today. :(

I guess the lesson here is if you order on a Friday, expect major delays.

I came across some interesting trivia this past weekend - it is illegal to sell clove cigarettes in MD. How bizarre is that. Like they're any different health wise than normal cigarettes. I know they're a bit stronger in smell - but make them illegal to sell? They are not an illegal substance. That is crap.

Apparently it has something to do with the kids smoking them and transitioning into regular smokers? What is wrong with these people?

Now I have a question. Are the carts coming from china? Do we know for sure their contents? Where and how is the nicotine coming from and extracted? If anyone finds any websites on the process, please share.

Hi e-girl this might explain why they are illegal in some places http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/2317.html

I've been looking all over the internet for a while now and there are quite a few ways of extracting nicotine. The ones you can use at home have no guarantee of the amount of nicotine being extracted, but I think the difinitive way of extracting it involves the use of lots of chemicals and industrial machinery. Hope this helps!

E-girl, you win the Grand Prize. You asked a GREAT question. Where do the carts originate? In all the shifty, underground world of international commerce ... where is tobacco grown and liquid made and cartridges assembled? China? Guess again in the case of E-Cig. Or at least some of E-Cig's carts. The People's Republic of China Ministry of Commerce pages show us that the country of origin for E-Cig cartridges is a beloved fellow Communist dictatorship -- CUBA.

And, since America has a trade embargo against anything Cuban, well ...

I can't even order Montecristo or Romeo y Julieta snus from Sweden because those brands contain some Cuban tobacco. E-girl, you rang the bell that I bet few even know exists. Keep asking good questions.

Does anyone have a case or do you just chuck it in your pocket?
Depending on how things go - I think special cases for these could be a nice touch.

Funny you should mention this. I've been e-smoking for a couple of weeks now (maybe three) and I found the perfect "case" for my mini e-cigs. I use slim line reading glasses cases. I had one of my own and in the past week, several friends have given me their little glasses cases. I think it's perfect for a mini e-cig case. Perfect fit.

FINALLY! This morning I got up, and I only had 3 cigarettes left and I was praying for the package to be in the mail (usually comes about 10:30) And there it was.

I raced back up the driveway and proceeded to figure out how to plug in and charge as I realized it would have to charge first.

The package said 3 hours, but it was done in more of an hour or less (the light turned green) so I just couldn't wait any longer and decided to give it a whirl. Plus, I was out of smokes at this point.

Currently I am staying with family who live way out in the boonies and I have no car or no access to one - so getting cigarettes has been a real pain in the patooty. They took off, and I was alone. I missed the chance for them to pick me up a pack - but I hate asking them to anyway.

I was immediately impressed, with the exception of hearing a slurping noise - which I later realized if I took a slower hit I not only didn't hear the noise but I also got a LOT of smoke. There was a hint of strawberry or something and it was kind of like smoking a pipe or something slightly sweeter than a cigarette. I love how this just fires right up. The flavor was nice (I'm using the light) and I don't appear to be having any immediate adverse reactions.

I am ECSTATIC!

I was able to get out later in the day for some fathers day shopping and did buy a pack of cigarettes but I have not opened it. I grabbed it "just incase."

So I had only 3 cigs today and normally it's a pack or a pack with a couple extras if I'm drinking (which at this moment I am;)

Next step is to see how long the battery and the cart lasts. I had picked up an extra pack (5 carts) of the lights and I'm SOOOOO glad I did. I actually may be getting slightly more nic than I'm used to. I may get some of the nic free and mix it up a bit.

When I was out shopping we went from one store to one next door and here's something cool. Usually my 100's are too long to smoke and I just want a little boost and I wind up either throwing half a cigarette away or putting it out and saving it in the pack where the smell can spread and is kind of nasty but smokes got so dang expensive. I whipped out the Njoy, gave it a quick couple hits, and stuck it back in my pocket so fast and with no mess or scrounging my purse for lighters.

I AM SOLD!

I will not be returning this (unless there is some problem) and in a couple of weeks I will probably just buy another one as a back-up.

I want to thank everyone who has been stopping in here. I'm sure I'll have some more questions soon.

I did come up with an idea for those who are in need of some kind of timing device. I thought it might be cool to have a faux lighter which you flick and a light comes on and activates your ecig. Then, you keep your lighter on the table in front of you or in close proximity and it is an external timer/remote control which deactivates the ecig after a designated time which would be the equivalent of a smoke. How crazy is that? I know I can set the TV to turn it's self off at a certain time.

Just remember - you heard it from e-girl first.
