Wal-Mart liquids?

its actually a section under the "Tips and Tricks" forum called "DIY Liquids" i believe. anyways, the flavorings they primarily use are Lorann's and just make sure it is water soluble and you may want to avoid colorings, as they might stain your PV and perhaps your lungs (though there isnt any hard evidence one way or the other for the latter). if it has oil in it, avoid it, and as far as alc content, I dont know about that one, several of the recipes i've read seem to contain flavors with alc in them, so i guess its probably fine. anyways, there is a GREAT wealth of information in the DIY E-Liquid forum under the tips and tricks area, so check there and have fun!

I was poking around the forum and saw some people talking about liquids from Wal-Mart for flavoring to use with your e-cigarettes. What liquid is it I would look for to do this? Im sure extracts wouldn't work because they contain alcohol amd since the atomizer does get hot this would cause a fire Id imagine.

Actually almost all eJuice already contains alcohol and is flammable. Put a drop of eJuice on a metal spoon, apply flame to the drop and.. *poof* gone. Always keep a fire extinguisher nearby while vaping.....

Hello Hawke and Welcome to the Forum!! Most of what people are saying that they get at Walmart is the Wilton's glycerin in the cake decorating section. You can use this to cut your ejuice or make your own. I haven't seen any Lorann's flavoring at my Walmart or any other flavoring that you can use in ejuice but it might just be mine. Anyway, grab some glycerin. It's only $2. It's good to add to juice that is mostly PG based. Glycerin really makes your juice vape better. Hope this helps. :)

Back in the arts & crafts section, (not groceries) they have a few flavors for flavoring candy & cake frosting and they are in a PG base. Also, the PG/VG water the alcohol down so much that there is NO way it would catch fire. Let me put it this way...Take a book of matches and a beer, and see what happens...a bunch of soggy matches. The main reason not to use an alcohol base is that it makes the juice too thin and it won't wick correctly.

If you do use flavorings you will want to keep them to a minimum. Addition of to much of anything will hinder smoke production, Colorings will not really burn and clog an atty quickly. Loranns are good because they are so concentrated that you shouldn't need much and they are usually pg based, most contain no coloring but avoid the alcohol based ones as they also hinder smoke and clog your atty.
