Can you somehow type out the Wall Street Journal location of that specific story? I cannot find it by searching the Journal site. No returns on searches for "electronic cigarettes" or Salmon; ECA brings up a corporation's stock report.

That's a pure PR story (note the BusinessWire credit) run exactly as written, and most unlike anything the WSJ would do. Where in the print Journal did it run? BusinessWire, a collection of PR releases, is not in the same league as WSJ itself.

No. The WSJ is online. I just want the actual address of this story. BusinessWire is unimpressive, since it runs any corporate PR junk it gets. If WSJ did a story, that would be a cause for joy.

I agree T-Bob, I do not see any link to WSJ when search this article around. Gigantic difference between BusinessWire release and an actual Journal piece. I see Marke****ch picked it up and Reuters so I hope Sun didn't get it confused. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that he can point us to a link.

LOLOL I forgot about Market Watch not being able to be spelled out for a word being in there. We really keep it pretty clean here considering you have to be 18 to use the device that is the premise of this forum. Market Watch is part of the WSJ network but only passes along press releases like any news wire. It posts any news that could potentially affect the economy. It is not the WSJ though and does not hold the prestige of the Journal or the Times by a longshot.

To the question about getting covered by Fox News:

I've personaly e-mailed the Hannity Show, the O'Reilly Factor, etc. with a plea to cover the story. Summed it up, provided our most usefull quotes, etc. Do the same - if they pick it up, it'll be more effective than writing senators even, as it will generate a lot more letters and calls from their constituents (sp?)

If we had Fox News on our side we could just pay them off to report that we won even if we didn't. Which then after the fact would mean we won. Cuz they said so. Ahem... Right?

That is a impressive statement by the ECA , but I hope this message will be heard by the goverment . The only downfall at the moment is the goverment over inflating this Flu Pandemic ,which is BS it is just a flu and they want us all scared to death to cover up the trillions of dollars being ...... away to foreign banks and such . I really hope we the people can somehow get our goverments back to working for us, not the USA and Canada working for the giant Drug , Oil, Banks and other corparations that have clouded the minds of the leaders of our nations !!!! . Our voices need to be heard and stop acting like passive dogs licking our parts in the sun and just being. STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS !!!

NYJets, I've long been a WSJ fan. This particular piece of pure PR did not originate from them or pass the approval of an editor. Just BusinessWire junk. That is most assuredly NOT a product of the Wall Street Journal, where quality people would have a heart attack at the thought of a professional journalist writing something like this.
