Want/need a new better vaping system and I'm super confused!

61 year old, smoked on & off for 40 years, been vaping & smoke free for 31 days and now since I proved to my self I can really quit the cigs I want a better setup.
4-17-12 ordered a 510 starter set from Aquavapor then after some use got some extra batteries. Got tired of the batt charge thing then ordered a ego-c Mega Battey starter kit from Aquavapor on 5-13-12, it has 2 900mah batteries and blank cartridges with it. I'm not here to bad mouth Aquavapor! After all the 510's got me off the nastys!
I have had problems with the ego-c unit not having even as much vapor as the 510 system, bad/burnt taste and have looked at all their info & video's and change out with their other attys and cartridges to check if I just had a few bad ones. I have contacted them and after a few days they said they know they have a problem and will send me some other stuff to hold me off asking them for a return & refund till they decide what they want to do about it. They obviously have had other complaints.
Again the information above is only to give you my background. I also use/have only 18 & 24 mg juice from them
I have searched, read and studied many hours on ECF and been to many websites.
Most likely I will have to keep the stuff I have, no problem just would like to find some attys and carriages that might make it better, no plastic taste carriages would be nice.
What I really want is a new system. Thought of and did some research on lava tube, buss pro, apollo v-tupe and provari.
Lots of info on ECF to buy single coil but vendors only list the dual when one to buy one of the above. I was just about to order a mini from apollo but now I'm just confused on what to get. When I order I would like to get enough extra stuff to last me a few months equipment wise. I'm open to any advise/ help you can give. Just think the prover is a bit much and overhyped a lot. Again just want to stay off the cigs and not be shopping equipment for a while.
All the new juice I will get will most likely be 50-50 and less nicotine.
Thank You in advance for taking the time to consider my request for help.

If you like the vaping experience of the 510 (I assume this is a normal 510 with cotton-filled cartridges) but the battery life of the eGo, you can combine the two (if they are genuine Joye products or compatible clones). They have the same threading, so you can put 510 atomizers on eGo batteries. There are also eGo atomizers that work with cotton-filled cartridges (so same as a 510 with bigger capacity).

I tried a wide variety of atomizers, tanks, cartomizers, and so on--and that's what I settled on (old fashioned 510/eGo atomizers on eGo batteries). Just because something is new, fancy, pricey or popular does not necessarily mean it's best for one individual.

If you want to try variable voltage without spending a fortune, you can order one of the new eGo-C TWIST batteries from any number of vendors. A bit more than a normal battery (and a little longer too) but a lot less than a Provari and doesn't require any extra kit. They haven't been out in the world very long, but the reviewers seem to like them a lot.
